Yeah. I want to swap in a manual tranny but for now I'll leave it automatic. I put down 220 WHP @ 15 PSI with an exhaust manifold leak and a bad fuel pump. Should have around 240 WHP next time I take it at less boost. I have a bigger turbo now. That'll be three times what the car puts down in stock form, LOL. Not bad for stock everything.

You're running a 7A-FTE setup with an auto? Interesting...never seen that.
What kind of power are you putting down, and how much did it cost for the whole conversion?

I've got a 95 ST and want to get some hp gains without having to do a swap. Any tips? Mines stick though, not auto.

I am wanting to do the Turbo AUTO ST. Was it a hard project to pull off? I wonder if you can give me some info On it also.

NO!Do the 3S-GTE and tranny swap...less expensive in the long run. The only reason I went this route is because I wanted to prove a point. I am not done with the project yet but is almost there. Yeah, the turbo is night-day difference. The car pulls very hard and has massive torque-steer. All my friends with faster cars still enjoy how mine feels...and the torque steer surprises the hell out of them. Right now I am not running an S-AFC and the car pulls way harder now. That thing was damaged or something. Now the car breaks traction from a dead stop and it has 17s. I've never ran it with stock rims once turboed. For an automatic car, it really is fun to drive and I would not change the tranny...it's unique the way it feels compared to other automatic turbo cars. Stay tuned for vids next month!

thats awesome that you turboed an auto ST, cause that's exactly what i have. Does the turbo actually make the car feel nice or does it still accelerate like an economy engine? if the turbo helps alot i wanna install one and save money instead of doing a full 3sgte swap and tranny swap and all that crap.

Dude, 220 AT THE WHEELS? I thought usually 7A-FTE setups made 200 at the crank, or something.
