Performance
Drives nicely, starts up smoothly, no trouble with long drives or short jaunts. Does have several fluid leaks, including oil, so we have to keep a small backup supply in the trunk for road trips. The cruise control seems to pick when it wants to work or not.
Suspension
fine.
Exterior
Sun-faded passenger side handle. Rusting around the bottom edges. paint on the hood and airfoil is cracking, and the clearcoat is starting to peel near the trunk. Missing a rubber gasket for one of the headlights. The windshield is pockmarked and has a large scrape on it from a broken wiper blade that has since been replaced.
Interior
Needs re-upholstering in the front seats, the ceilng, and the center console box. The back seat upholstery is good condition. The driver's side sun visor is broken, but still with the car. The AC does not work.
More info
The engine was replaced before we got it with a non-celica engine. I believe the original engine was a 2.2L, but was replaced with a 2.0L.

That's so interesting. Someone tell us more about the motor! I'm probably wrong but I think that is a 5SFE intake manifold with a 3SGE block?

Actually looks like it may even be a head swap. Anyone know for sure?

The replacement was done before my wife bought it, but I do know that it was done through a Japanese motor exchange service.

Well, the 2.0L is more powerful than the 2.2, so this can only be a good thing. I love Celicas.
