wouldn't it be easier and cleaner just to heat the whole light up and remove the front lense, put the ring in, then replace the lense and seal it all up again ? |

thanks for head ups and info guys I shall look into BC ~ Yeah ... the Koni's cost a lot more than i'd initially anticipated (and they didn't have any in stock, so i got time to look around some more) |

I've been trying to do a bit of research on Koni Yellows (my stock shocks are shot, so all four need to be replaced). I checked out koni website, but they could only give me parts numbers for : Celica Coupé 1.8, 2.0-16V (AT200 / ST202) excl. cars with Multi-Link Sport suspension, Rear: for KYB only 94-99 Front : 8641-1308Sport Rear: 8641-1212Sport I've got an ST204 SX ... anybody able to confirm for me whether those parts numbers are the ones I should be looking to replace my shocks with? Thanks ! |

Mines a '94 [So produced prior to the upgrades Toyota did to the sound deadening] and has since been completely stripped of all soundening material This probably a really noob question ... so my 97 SX has factory sound deadening already ? I pulled my back seats out to remove dog hair out of the seats (total nightmare ) and noticed it wasn't bare metal i was looking at. Will I technically be able to pull off this carpet padding project if i were to stick it on top of the 'factory sound deadening' ? |

hope i'm not going off topic here ... but got an idea when vince talked about taking the plastic bit out and spraying it body coloured ~ Just out of curiosity ... with the plastic 'trim' bit in the headlights ... they don't do anything for the luminosity of the lights do they ? Like if I were to mod my stock ones (take out the plastic, spray them black) my lights wouldn't be any dimmer would they ? |
