I got the entire left wheel assembly in tact off of a 95 gt, would you mind listing exactly which parts you need and we can see what we can do. Located in central northern NC.

Im aware the 5s and 3s have the same motor mount locations and are interchangable in the 6th gen gt's, and I've heard that the location of one of the motor mounts in the 6th gen ST's is different from the 5s/3s, Ive tried searching but I cant seem to find this information, any help would be appreciated.

I realize this might be a silly question, but I was wondering if they made a set of performance gears for our cars, there has to be a way to get better gear ratios than stock, as far as acceleration and/or a longer final gear goes. Just wondering

Hello, I have no idea what these gauges are called or if they are custom, and I have no clue where to even start looking for these, maybe someone on here knows. Here's a pic:

well, after a long hard year and some odd weeks of being celica-less (after having totaled my baby wink.gif) I am finally in the process of rebuilding her. I am looking for a shell, preferably 94-95, but doesnt really matter, I just want a moonroof, hatchback, and 5 speed if possible. Let me know what u got, or what you can find. Appreciate it =]

Just as it states, i'm on the hunt for a shell.... wrecked my 6gc about 7 months ago and now I am trying to own another one smile.gif
GT/ST doesnt really matter as long as its hatchback with moonroof, and perhaps 5 speed, near the North Carolina/Virginia area.. Lemme know what you got

Ok. I am looking for a shell of any 94-99 celica, I'd consider even ST's or auto's, preferably without the motor but I'd accept blown motors or w/e... I would absolutely love for it to have a sun/moon roof, 5 speed, and be a gt, but if its just a Celica it'll do. My budget is kinda tight but right now i'll be willing to work something out. Lemme know what you got! Need to buy ASAP. Appreciate it

Im sure this has been covered, but I cant find any threads on it. Basically, I was just wondering how much work / modification is required to throw a 5sfe into an ST, simply because of my circumstances if I find a decent ST shell then that will be my only option... Are there major differences between the ST and GT that make this complicated?

almost anywhere... just not to the west coast or anything. getting it shipped or delivered by a service is a possibility if it's too far to drive, work schedule comes into play then...

I think that because of the fuel economy situation Toyota decided to focus on economical vehicles, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time until they come back out with some powerhouse performance based models. Going back to the topic though, anyone know of the potential of one of those 3.4L V6's that come in the 99-04 Tacoma TRD models? Not sure if it would fit, but my pops owns one, and one of those in a Celica would be pretty cool.. The idea came up because he has thoughts of throwing a V8 into his Tacoma. The 2.7-liter 2TR-FE might be a possibility? 4 banger with 180 ft lbs of torque, with some boost that might be a powerhouse... I dunno. Lol. A 3sgte in a is300 would be hot though, it's been done and that car looks sick, videos of it on youtube.

Sup, looking to buy a shell for a GT, preferably 94-95 but any year would be fine... hell, I'll even consider an ST... basically if you got a Celica Hatchback with a blown motor, or the motor taken out and you want to get rid of it, give me a holla wink.gif looking to spend up to $1,000 depending on the condition. Lemme know! Preciate it =]

Never thought I would be making one of these threads as I used to see these types of threads and they would only make me more thankful that I had my car in one piece... But it happened. Wrecked my Celica about a week ago and totaled it. It was early morning and I was tired to begin with, but basically, without going into too much detail, I went off the right side of the 2 lane 2 way road and half the car was on the grass, when I tried to correct it I lost total control when the car went back onto the road and started sliding sideways. Slid sideways for a bit a ways in a ditch, the car hit a driveway which is about a foot and a half higher than the ditch and area of grass I was sliding on, and the car went airborn. Finally came to a dead stop at the sake of a utility pole. It breaks my heart, and this is probably the biggest f*ck up I've ever done in my short life, but it only makes me want to get another one a build it even worse now.... Here are some pics:

Passenger side... Thankfully noone was with me, as they would have been dead...

All in all, nobody died, and I'm still walking and thinking straight. Could be a lot worse. But!

Engine still intact.. =]

I plan on having another Celica by the end of the summer, and have my swap done by summer of 2010.

a couple gas tanks ago, i got 410 miles to the tank, which ended up being around 32 mpg... in my GT with intake, header and full custom exhaust... and with some spirited driving in there... Decided to try out the new V-Power gas by shell, 93 octane and was extremely pleased i must say... was very surprised to say the least

Pertaining to the 2nd question I had... I know a magnaflow high flow cat isn't a resonator, I was just wondering if there were any differences between a ROUND magnaflow high flow cat or an OVAL one... I'm assuming no huge difference, but if there are any I'd like to know...

Round:

Oval:

Again, thanks in advance

First, I have no idea what kind of resonator to get... I guess there's no real difference in any of them but how they affect the sound, but I'm looking around and I see all these different types of resonators, just dont know which one to pick kindasad.gif

Second, round or oval magnaflow high flow cat?

Appreciate the patience in advance, I know I'm probably the 783sjhf928 millionth person to ask these questions
