the timing belt might be difficult if you don't know what you are doing. when you replace the timing belt i advise you to change the waterpump too, just because inorder to get to the water pump you would have to take out the timing. when you are doing timing you also should look at your cam gears and bearing, and all the timing pullies.

the other belts that connect to your ac, power stearing, and alternator are called serpintine belts. they really don't have to be replaced unless you notice cracks in them. because they seem lose could mean they are weared out, but you can adjust the tensioner on those.

if you want a little more hp then you can also advance your timing, this is by adjusting the angle on the dizzy. the only thing is that if you do this you are going to have to run higher octane

hope this helps

if you are on a flat surfice with no incline or decline, you can push the clutch in, put it in first gear and easy off the clutch petal, don't pull it out to fast or the car will die. There is going to be a point where you going to be moving foward. That's the point where the clutch starts grabbing, and also the point where you going to be putting some gas. Always remember to push the clutch back in when coming to a stop. every car is different so the clutch will grab in different places. good luck. keep practicing and before you know it you be doing donuts in the parking lot biggrin.gif. if my gf can do it you certainly can.

i know this is an old post, and not sure if you kicked it with her yet.

When she ask you what you want to order, you reply

"can I have ------- and your number 2 please."

it works when the menu has numbers in front of it for faster orders. my friend used this one time, and the girl went crazy for him, she turned out to be messed up though

for oil filters, the oem is the best, but can be pricey, so you can use mobile 1. it is best to change your oil every 3000 cause if you notice after that when you start getting to 4000 or 5000 you the level will start going down. This is because the oil is being burnt off. What you can do is check it every time you wash your car. I'm sure you wash your car often. Just change it when it gets dirty or when the oil level is going down.

I use 10W30 mobile or castro synthetic, changing it every 3000 or around there. Oh yeah and another thing to consider, it's not a good idea to go to synthetic and then back to regular oil. Once you go synthetic stay synthetic. I wipe my car and truck down every friday when I get home from work, and it only takes 5 minutes to pop your hood and check to see if all your fuilds are good. Like bccentaur3 said if you keep up your regular maint. then your engine will last.

keep in mind changing oil also varies by the way you drive and if you drive in traffic, or use high revs

I'm interested in buying JDM projectors so I can do a retro fit to my celica. Anyone knows places where I can buy them from? I see the ones on ebay, but I'm not to sure about those. Let me know, thanks
