Ah a nice normal GT, like mine. @presure2, ah great, now I recognize it! Are you dutch? But you live in Naples/Napoli Italy? (confused) Woon in Naples, Florida. |

I love it that my new Celica has Superstrut. However it started knocking, it seems the figure 8 isn't OK. I'm not sure though, if it's the figure 8. But the figure 8 is looking rusty, while on the good side of the car the figure 8 is not rusty at al. (might even have been replaced already) |

Technically you can't drift a FWD car if you ask me. But you can get a FWD car sideways, easy. However, that's not drifting, and it's still nog driving RWD. An MR2 is nice (I have an old one), Toyota quality and all, but you have to be a real pro to drift with an MR2. And if you do, it's not natural drifting, because the rear is heavy. So if you want to drift but that car. But it could be pretty worthless for that price. Anyway, 1500$ is not much, isn't it possible to keep it next to your Celica? Then you would have a solid base, it won't be a bad thing if the 240 breaks down. I wouldn't turbo your Celica if you're looking into RWD and/or drifting, you will want it even more after you turbo'd your Celica. |

Yeah, you need the hood for the line to match. And very important the crashbar behind the bumper. And offcourse the little stuff like DEATH says. |

richee I know what you mean. A couple years ago all i wanted was huge bass and i got it. But I killed my battery and it just got boring after a while. Now I still want some bass but want it to sound good. If that is impossible well then I'll ditch the subs. Its weird though that when you search for this problem so many topics come up, yet no one has come up with an answer. Read his story 1 more time. Don't **** up your ears. Put some rubber or foam between the bezel and other stuff (and in your ears). |

That's bad, mkay. I'd say my gearbox is worth more to me then my clutch, so the answer is simple. |

I don't like that wing either, sorry Lil-Joe. But that's just my opinion. And what do you need my opinion for? It's your car, and you have the right to put on a spoiler. I also think the standard GT4 spoiler is already very high, bit too high for me. Most of the wings just add weight, but they can work, even on a fwd car. For example cornering at high speed (say 80km/h or 50mph and above). And besides that, the 6th gen Celica is a good example of a sporty car which looks good withouth the spoiler. |

Is the facelift bumper much different? You can get turn signal glasses for the pre-facelift bumper, if that's what's making you change to facelift bumper. |

Stats about the 3S-FE: http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/3sfestats.htm It has 115hp, but probably more torque. This might be countered by heavier drivetrain. I think you could swap the head and ecu etc, for 3S-GE parts. But the internals might be weaker, not sure. |

I think it won't fit. ST205 rear is different, because of the different gas tank location, and the rear axle the ST202 doesn't have. So the piping is different. |

Check out ebay and stuff. A BEAMS engine (4th gen 3S-GE) is very nice, however, if looking at the power output, it's very expensive compared to a 3rd gen 3S-GE (the normal 3S-GE engine for the 6th gen celica), which has only 25hp less. Most bang for your buck is putting in an 3S-GTE engine offcourse, with the turbo etc. But that costs even more to build, and to keep running! And a lot of power on the front wheels. I suggest you try to make the car as new (bodywork, slick details in lighting etc, some decent rims (not too big)) and see how much money you got left. |

Offcourse you could change the engine to a very powerfull one, a 3S-G(T)E or something. But do you want to change te car that much? I wouldn't do anything with the 3S-FE engine if I were you. And changing it is a big thing if the car is of such value to you, so you decide.. |

Check wheelweights.net, and the PDF ordered by weight. Choose some light 16's ![]() I believe Buddyclub have some affordable wheels. The SF are the affordable ones, the QF expensive I think. You'll see. |

What is a saran wrap? I think you are to obsessed with your car, by the way. Getting a loud alarm will help a little, but it will feed the obsession even further I think. |

yeah, 225 will probably provide you with a better ride than 215 ... i have 215 on my tc rims and i hate how noisey and rough it rides XD ya the width of the tire has nothing to do with the ride of it. From what i heard it all depends if you get low profile 40, 45 or 50. The the taller the tire the comfier ride you have... Partially true. The height of the tire is dependend for the ride comfort. So 40 or 45 or 50 makes a difference. However, these numbers are percentages of the tire width. So 225/45 is higher then 215/45 for example. Get it? By the way, I have 215/40/17 under it, and I think it's ok. But i'm used to a harder ride. I just put on new Uniroyal Rainsport tires, and so far they're doing well, haven't had a chance to test em good. |
