i found oil in the spark plugs... that cant be good, i put in new ones while cleaning the oil out, and i am still having problems starting it

maybe during shipment the engine fell over or tipped upside down leaving oil in the chambers. but as for the not starting i have no idea bc it should still fire. post some pics i wanna see this beast. where did you get your engine i was wanting to get one as well

I was thinking about building a couple of sets of the rear end crossmembers, Would anybody be interested?
I would have to charge $500 for the pair for labor and material.

i would actually love to buy them but were i live jobs are kinda a rarity so...when i get another job (got fired frown.gif
i hate fabricating parts, bc no matter what i always gotta screw something up

Save yourself the time, the white hairs, and money and be a GT-2 like the rest of us (getting the st205 front conversion and the 3sgte)

And even if you got the front clip and rear diff. with all the components you need, you won't be able to simply bolt it up to your rear frame. You would have to actually purchase the rear clip of an actual gt-4 celica as well as their gas tank is located somewhere else compared to ours which conflicts with the components that needs to be bolted up. Unless you were to fabricate or eliminate ur gas tank and use fuel cells or w/e some other ppl may have done. Just letting you know from the other ppl who've done the AWD conversion, they've spent 10+ thousand on the conversion alone. Look up the threads, there's a few members who have done it.

so the gt4 gas tank wouldnt do it then?

I'll tell you there is a sticky for the front end conversion. If you are also doing the AWD transmission, you will need everything going to the rear differential which will most like be a problem with the rarity of parts, the cost of labor and parts, etc. It is more feasible to get the front end swapped and the 3sgte motor as a FWD. Lots of fabrication needed to do a real GT-FOUR conversion.

i planned on bying the whole front clip of a gt4 and the rear diff.
