Thanks! Finally I found what I was looking for. EU does not have 180km/h cut. The JDM ecu have different part number than the euro spec (non egr), but as far as I know the JDM 3sge has slighly higher compression ratio, so it produces 178HP, while the EU spec (non egr) produce 175 or 173. Wonder if the JDM engine would run well on a eu spec ecu... |

Hello. My question is if someone know if there are any differences on the following ecu's: 6gen celica rev3 engine, - 3SGE JDM spec 94-99 - 3SGE EU spec, 94-95 before EGR was installed - 3SGE EU spec, 96+ with EGR Are all ecu using the same part numbers? And can I use for instance a eu spec ecu on a jdm engine? I tried toyodiy.com, but I can't find any ecu there. |

Most times the outter CV is the bad one and the inner CV is good, if that is the case with yours, you should check e-bay. For right around $50.00 you can buy 2 outter joints. That is if you dont mind doing the work yourself! I know man, but this is a uncommon problem, the inner CV is damaged E56 or S54 Iceman? I need for the S54.. |

Thanks for the tips guys, I will let the guys who takes the job start with the splitters and not messing the side skirts. If it turns out it will be easier to break the splitters and do it over again then they just have to. I will just buy a new set (which isn't so expensive), and let them install it so I can remove them in the future.. The guy who did this molding is a great guy, he painted the car and it's good work, so I can't blame him, I guess he didn't know that is so hard to remove the headlights and that it was necessary.. I don't regret that the side skirts and rear bumper splitters is molded though, because they won't be needed to be removed unless there will be a car accident. |

Sorry, I was desperate and in bad mood, I will not break the projector lights. Yeah I was stupid to agree on molding the front-end when I knew the headlights won't pass the test anyway. I'm a idiot... I guess I have to pay for my mistake, send the car to someone that can somehow remove the spats and install them in a more clever way, or just cut a line downthrough so it will be possible to remove the front bumper. |

Then I have a BIG problem, I can not remove my front bumper anymore (see picture why), and I need to remove the headlights because they fail on MOT test, they are RHD and I live in LHD country... This is a nightmare... I think I just gonna have to cut off the tabs holding the headlamp and just use one bolt instead of 3, or I have to destroy the frontbumper/spats and do it all over again... |

Is it possible in a smart way to remove the headlights (low beams), without removing the front bumper ? I mean, there is only 3 bolts, it must be a way to remove them from the underside of the car? |

Sorry forgot to mention, the ET is 40. Since yours are 7.5" as well, I'd say it's a pretty good chance that you're sitting with ET45, because they look about as sunken in as mine. My advice would be, unless you absolutely adore those wheels, get a new set with a better offset. Your wheels will need big spacers to make them close to flush and it'll kill your wheel bearings. If your wheels ARE ET45, you'll need 30mm worth of spacer in the front and 47mm worth of spacer in the rear to make them completely flush with the fenders. A lot of people are not into that, but those numbers give you an idea of what you'd need. A new set of wheels is not a option. Do you still recomend 30mm in front, and 47-50mm in rear for ET40 ? |

Hello. My friends whine about that I need spacers on my car, now they convinced me and I want spacers =P I found these on ebay that are bolt-on that is quite nice. These are the following sizes available: 15-20-25-30-38 mm I got a feeling that 30mm will be good, but what do you guys think ?? I can have up to 38mm because the car is not low enough so it will come in the way, but 38 I think will be to much ? 2nd question, will it be best to have spacers on all tires, or will it be okay to have them in front only? Here is some pictures how it is stock: rear: front: |

Hello. My 3s-ge engine makes a bad sound while it's cold, probably from the head (?). This only occur when it has not been in use for a day or more. I'm not quite sure, but it looks like the sound is more noisy when rain enter the engine through the vents on the hood. After 5min driving the sound disappears totally. The engine does NOT use any big amounts of oil, and I don't have any other problems with it, so I don't think it should be serious. Anyway, here is a short video of the problem, hope someone know what the issue can be and help me (and maybe others) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N-8M2LIsfQ |

Are you sure it will fit my manifold ? Because it's CT20B I used before, not CT26. Or is it the same flange ? |

Hello. My friend has bought a garrett turbo kit for his celica st205. The turbo will have a external wastegate (42mm), now we got all the parts we need, including a T3 downpipe. BUT, we are struggling with the exhaust manifold. We can't find any manifolds with T3 flange that fits this engine, also we need to have a hole for the wastegate. We are desperately needing one but we can't find one, so now we are planning to use a after market manifold with CT20B flange. It can perhaps be used if we cut the flange, and make a T3 flange and weld it on the manifold, plus we need to drill a hole on it for the wastegate. The problem is that it is much hard work and easier said than done. So, I'm wondering if anyone know where I can get this T3 manifold for a reasonable price ? Is it possible ? I have found some on eBay but they are for the 2nd gen engine, but they are also without the hole for the wastegate. What should we do ?? |

Thanks for the comments Iceman, that molding looks amazing!!! Especially the rear spats. Wow, they did a great job. x2 I just hope you never have to remove your front bumper, fenders, or rear bumper ever... I hope that day will not come in the future, but if it does, I'm sure the problem can be solved somehow |

Finnaly got some proper pictures from my Cely. It has been new painted 3 days ago, washed and polished today. Sideskirts and front/rear spats are professionally installed, not just mounted with "chewing gum" I hope to get your opinions about the car... |
