That second is a Corona liftback- can't remember what the chassis code is, but that just looks wrong... I like the first conversion though!

Yeah NVM, I thought they were slimmer in the inset picture. I didn't look to the left.
They are different splitters- those ones are for the front:

There are also two versions of the bodykit- the one pictured is the larger curvier version, and there is a more subtle version of this too. I'll post pics once I get them off of my camera. I traded in my Curren last weekend. One owner, six years... frown.gif

These are the same caps on another car- it took me a loooong time to source the set I have- wish I was able to put them on, but since I'm selling the car...

Not quite so qure about these- I have a lip on mine that I prefer (although it's broken- Grrr!), but with the kit I have, these would have been better on the back...

This is from the User guide I have for the car, and some of the optional extras that could have been purchased at the time... oh, if only!

Rusty and Vincent Doggy- thanks guys! I'd just clicked in and seen the enquiries re: differences, and was about to post a link about that...

By SSIII, they are Superstrut suspension, which from memory was used as it had more responsive steering... I think they were used on SSII as well- I have a Curren ZS Sport which I think came out at the same time as SSII's with similar options. Mine had a mild body kit... there was a more out there version of the kit available as an option, but was seen more often on the SSIII Celicas...

Ooh, and I have pics- not my car, pics of the caps attached, and a few other bits and bobs...

Hey guys, I'm getting quotes for these now- I'm not using Fedex as a) it's for stuff that needs to be there tomorrow, and b) it is HELLISHLY expensive! lol

Apologies for the delay- I've had a new arrival last week (a Mini-me without the cloning!), and life's been chaos lately!

Those that wanted this gear, if you're still game, get back to me via PM with your contact details (name, address etc, and phone/ MSN/ Skype is possible, just in case), and we'll sort things from there. Cheers!

ok sounds good, also please let me know if they have dampening adjustments and height adjustments (looks like they are height adjustable)

Heya, the suspension has four settings on a dial- this is the dampening, yes? The dials are on the top for the front and the sides for the rear.

As for height adjustment, it's got a massive thread for the lowest point of the spring. I'm assuming this can be adjusted, however perhaps the spring would need to be changed? I will check with a few people in the know here and get back to you. Otherwise the only thing Ican suggest is that you check the model numbers provided in the TRD website?

im interested in the TRD struts........ they look to be height adjustable? are they also adjustable for dampening ? also please check what shipping would be to 80602 USA please. thanks

Will do- only problem (aside from cost of shipping) will be finding strong enough packaging! biggrin.gif Had an idea though- cycle shops use double skinned boxes- plenty strong!

Sweet- still trying to box them properly- had to go into work today rather than take care of 'business' lol frown.gif

Anyhoo, will have prices ASAP, in meantime:
* TRD Proven has first dibs on exhaust followed by 25th Celica
* Vincent gets first dibs on caps followed by Freddy. Leads are under offer elsewhere. biggrin.gif

I've also edited thread to remove the NZ only stipulation- since I've had more interest from overseas than in NZ, I figure 'NZ only' is a bit moot! lol

not too concerned about what engine as long as the hangers would mount the exhaust. Can anyone verify the hangers are like st204?

Reason I asked re: engine is that I have no idea whether US celicas are US-built or not- if they are it could mean that they have different connectors and mounting points for everything (incl. exhaust) to cater for US parts- I dunno, I don't build 'em! lol If your car has a 3S-GE engine, it would indicate whether they are similar or the same, and answer your question. the mounting points are intact, so I imagine it could be mounted. I just have to pack it back into the box, and I can get a shipping price for you!

Hey puppy, have my quote yet?

Not yet- I had a look at the box they came in, and erm, it was crap- Getting a new box so it will survive a trip to HK, and will havea price for you within the next day or so. Apologies for the delay!

I'm interested in the exhaust, do you know if the hangars fit exactly on an USDM Celica GT? also can I get more pics from the tip side via pm? first dibs if I can.
TBH I don't know- does the GT model in the states have a 3S-GE engine? It's been a while since I've been on a non-NZ forum- between marriage, work and study I haven't had much spare time! lol

Only thing I can suggest is measure the mounting points on your model, or ask around? Otherwise you could modify them I guess... shipping could be a killer though! Wil measure up, take pics and get back to ya smile.gif

Cheers!

Hey there, these are the rear caps for the Curren... If you like I can price them for you, although shipping to HK could be somewhat expensive?

SOLD

Hi everyone, I am selling the stuff I was planning to put into my car. These parts are suitable for Currens and Celicas (ST202/206 3S-GE)

Corner caps, leads and exhaust are sold- just the Struts left!

Curren corner caps NZ$100 - Sold
Metallic blue, and difficult to find. So far as I know these will also fit onto Celicas?

One needs TLC as it has a crack and other minor damage. It has two small holes, one being a piece about the size of a 20c piece which is included- I’m assuming this can be plastic welded or filled in?

TRD Ignition leads - NZ$200 - Sold
5mm, Red, unused in box. TRD part number 19051-ST000 for 3S-GE engines.

TRD muffler - NZ$150
This is a TRD muffler for a Celica ST202, which I purchased a while back. It has TRD embossed on one side and the genuine TRD plate on the other with the part number: 17400-ST000. You cannot buy this from TRD any more as it has been discontinued

The inlet is 2.25 inch/ 60mm, and the outlet is 3.75 inch/ 95mm.

Please note it will need to be welded on as a previous owner cut the pipe off, but there is still a collar that the exhaust pipe can be welded to. The muffler's in pretty good shape - no dents and the mounting brackets are still attached. It just needs a bit of a clean up, and with a bit of a sand and polish it should come up great.

TRD Adjustable Struts & Springs - NZ$800
Adjustable TRD suspension for superstrut Celicas and Currens. This came with my car when I bought it five years ago, and from then they’ve been boxed up and taking up space, unused as it required too much effort to turn them into pogo sticks. lol

These lowered the car considerably from stock, and cost heaps to buy new- was very unreliably informed that they retailed for around NZ$6k?

Part numbers on them are:
Front struts are 48508-ST060 (GH-09 KYB),
Front springs are 48231-SP000-06

Rear struts are 48021-ST070 (G1-07 KYB)
Rear springs are 48131-SP000-08

They appear to be in pretty good condition- there are no leaks, dents or buckling that I can see, and the ball joints on the sides of the rear suspension look pretty good- no cracking in the rubber, they move around firmly without any crunching or slackness.

I am based in New Zealand so I figure overseas shipping makes them somewhat expensive, but if you pay for the shipping, I am willing to do so, and am getting quotes now.

Let me know if you have any queries- thanks everyone!

Hey guys, reading this here in NZ and these strust look great! I read somewhere that the finish on these tends to corrode a bit though- have any of you guys who've installed these found that with yours? Cheers!

Cheers man, right now I'm in the midst of prepping a pile of stuff to get my car in decent shape again- I've let it go over the years I've had it, so it's due for quite a tidy up as well as a few mods! I'll be changing the gauges and interior lighting to red- I don't want to use LEDs, but finding red caps for bulbs is a PITA, TRD muffler (and possibly some generic headers), replace the broken monsoon visors, repair sunroof, cut and polish and a general detail... but I have a few other things in my life that are taking priority first! biggrin.gif

I was considering getting the wiring done, but from this and a few other sites I'm willing to have a crack myself- how much all up do you reckon it would cost for the wiring you've installed/ are installing? Is the one you've installed the one off of trademe? I love the red/blue lights to reflect the change of temperature...

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for putting these up- been wanting to do the same to my Curren (I'm in Wellington), and I'd no idea how... This looks great, and it's given me the push to do stuff with mine again! Good luck with the stuff you're doing, and keep us posted!
