...drove all the way to Little Rock Arkansas. Only saw one 6gc on the interstate. I think I might break out the camera for the rest of the trip and snap a few shots of all the celicas I see for the rest of my vacation, so if you see a guy with a camera coming at you I'ts probably me! Headed for Fort Worth TX! |

Your luck you can buy it back. I don't think they let us do that anymore in Illinois. |

I would even settle for a link on where to get one. But if you have one, and don't think it's worth it's weight in gold or platinum, PM me. Also would be interested in an armrest / console lid. Don't care what shape the cover is in, just needs to be in good shape plastic wise. |

I would be interested in a plain black/charcoal leather (real leather) one to match the factory leather seats BUT: I don't like the one-piece look because when you wrap it you end up with wrinkles at the edge (see picture above). I would want the tailored type with two seams along the sides so there are no wrinkles. I'm not gonna mess with real leather Real leather is $315 a hide. A hide is about 3 1/2 yards of workable material. It would take about 1 square foot of material to cover your armrest. It wouldn't really be cost effective for either of us. |

Laughed at Richee3's post about his car Today I put the front license plate on the IS because the state of Illinois requires it by law for whatever reason and because I don't want to get swarmed by cops again. That wasn't cool. Now the car looks something like this: |

What exactly would you cover it with ? I'm doing my inside black and red could it be something like that ? Yeah, pretty much however you want. The company I order from has all kinds of cool stuff. Everything from carbon fiber look to fake gator and snake. Just let me know what your looking for. |

I noticed everyones armrests look like they could use a new cover. Let me know what you think about an exchange deal. You send me yours (as long as its in good shape plastic wise) and I will send you a recovered one, or I could recover yours with whatever. Price would vary on different materials for the cover but a plain black would be about $30 shipping included. |

I know of one for sale. 1994 Coupe, black. It's not running but it has a spare engine that does run. Since I personally pulled the running engine out of another Celica, I can confirm that it runs. It's located in Alton, IL. I know it's kind of far from you, but the price is VERY good on the car. You could easily pick the car up and have a mechanic drop the new engine in for under $5,000. Who is your friend that referred you to the site? Good luck searching for a Celica! Hopefully you get one! actually I'm in Olney Illinois and this would be a great project car, but it would be a bit of a drive for you. I would recomend you take a good look at your local craigslist.org ads. |
