Sweet, that sounds like a great swap. Let me know if you have any questions or need a hand with it. You might want to check out my website for some inspiration too: http://www.phoenixtuning.com And welcome to the forum!!!` -Doc Thanks Doc! My motor set didn't come with axles or mounts so my first questions pertain to those items. What USDM axles / mounts can I use? A friend of mine will help me make custom mounts as necessary since I'm sure they won't all line-up anyway. The axles are a bit more challenging, that's where you come in. If you can give me some insight, that would be greatly appreciated! |

Hello 6gc.net! I'm a proud owner of a 7th gen Corolla wagon seeking 6th gen Celica BEAMS knowledge. The high mileage 7AFE (214,xxx miles) in my AE102 is burning a lot of oil and probably has half the factory rated hp. So instead of replacing the valve seals / piston rings or swapping in another A-series motor (4AG(Z)E / 20v), I've acquired a 3SGE BEAMS to build the ultimate NA grocery getter / baby-mobile! With all your help, I should have the tools to accomplish this. If I can learn a thing or two about Celicas and make some friends, that would be a huge bonus! |
