i have a chance to get a complete 1989 celica gt for cheap and its got a manual trans. would the trans work in my 94 st?

ok I'm new to the celica scene but i am looking at doing a motor swap in my 6g I'm curious what my options are?? i have seen people do the turbo motors, 7g motors, and v6's any info on the swaps would be helpful thanks in advance

so here is my question i was curious to who made the lowest drop spring for a 6g this is the the first 6g I have ever owned. Im not sure if i want to go with coil overs or not yet . any in put is appreciated thanks!
