Snow tyres are 185/65R14 Dunlop sp winter response they are good in all conditions and don't produce to much sound.

Summer tyres on the back are 215/40R17 Yokohama S Drive wich are good in both wet and dry conditions tyre wear is good.
On the front i have 205/40R17 Sumo Firenza they are good if it's dry and horrible if it's wet and they just last to long, want to get Yoki's for the front to but i want to wait till these are worn out.

My first car was a Nissan 100nx (i think it's a nx1600 in the us).
Bought it cheap drove it from 170k to 200k kilometers at this time the engine was still running strong but the body had rust everywhere.
I work @ toyota and drove a few 6gc's from customers wich i really liked so in januari 2009 i bought my second car the 6gc.

Alltough the first ride is an absolute stunner i'll just give it a go.

Here is my Celica st. Has had a full respray in 199 alpine silver.
The only modifications are a rear hatch sun visor, 17inch alloy wheels and a st205 strutbar on the front.
Future plans are to install the pre-facelift front fog lights i recently bought.

@ Stener do you know the 7a in the Carina E is a leanburn engine?
It has the leanburn system between the head and inlet manifold.

Don't know if this is a problem if you're gonna turbo it because the 7a in the Carina E is designed to run lean all the time.

Will this turbo kit also fit to a european 7afe?
I know for example the european 7a doesn't have egr and has a different exhaust manifold (it has no catalyser) it's only got a cat under the car.

Putting the 2 post gt spoiler on the hatch.
Take the black euro splitters off and repaint them silver.
Paint the front window wipers black again because they have some small rust spots.
Putting new wheel bearing on the right front.
Change oil and filter, Gear oil, brake fluid and rear roll bar bushes.

In The Netherlands the st has a 7A without EGR and without leanburn.
My car was sold as new in Italy and it also got the 7A without EGR and without leanburn.

So i gues the euro spec celica st's came with a 7A without egr and leanburn.
The Carina E and Avensis have a 7A with leanburn.

So after watching at this forum for a while i thought it was time to make my own thread.
I have my celica for a year and 2 months now and still love driving it. biggrin.gif

So it's a 94 st wich i bought with 174000km on the clock imported from Italy in 2007.

When i first got her:

2 weeks after i got her i changed: Timingbelt, Fuel filter, oil + filter, Valve cover gasket, brake flued, spark plugs, thermostat and the coolant.

The armrest on my centerconsole was a bit damaged so i wrapped it in new leather:

Before:

After:

Have to do this again sometime with black leather.

the car had some damage so now it was time to let that fix up so i did a full respray.

The bad:

The guy from the paint shop did this in his spare time so after a couple of weeks it came back like this:

Then i put the bumpers and stuff back on and she looked like this:

After i few weeks i bought new wheels because the old wheels were damaged:

And my latest update:

I've also added a st205 front strutbrace, Green air filter and euro splitters.
Next things to do are:
Change oil and filter, change tranny fluid and put the summer wheels back on.
Mount the 2 post spoiler on the hatch that's sprayed and ready to be installed.

And make some good pictures.

Hope you've enjoyed if not sorry. laugh.gif

I've allways liked the way celica's looked but when i got my drivers license i hadn't got the money for one so bought a nissan instead.
After a year and a half the rust started to appear everywhere on that car so i was looking to get another car.

But i work at toyota as mechanic and another mechanic at work had a 4th, 5th and 6th gen celica and he told me how much he love'd to drive them.
So started searching on internet and found my car wich originally comes from italy, it's a 1.8 with airco i think that's pretty rare around here.
Can't seem to find a lot of 1.8's around here with a/c.

After 14 days i own it for a year and i still love it everytime i drive it. smile.gif

Hope i haven't bored you all laugh.gif

I hope it's dirty enough to be in this thread, you can't really see in the pictures.

With the steel winter wheels on.

Before u put the plastic cover on you have to make sure you put the metal ring to the crankshaft sprocket.
This metal rings prevents the timing belt fromm coming off.

If u forget to put this ring back the timing belt want's to come off and starts shreding the plastic cover.

Abs on a celica is very reliable i have it on my ST.
Be careful if you want to take the sensors out of the hub, i wrecked mine when i replaced the wheel bearing and they are very expensive parts. kindasad.gif
