Found a couple of places I'm going to call tomorrow, if not GottaGoTurbo, I may just hit you up on your offer. equals to about $50 AUS before postage, so unless its $110 to get it here, its a much cheaper option lol

Hey mate, do you have the upper grill from the bumper for sale at all? if so what price?

yeah been to the dealers, they want $160 for the grill, but i can get an entirely new bumper for $180. Either way, its a hell of a lot of money to pay for a grill.

looking to replace the upper grill from my GT-4 front lip. Had it stolen from me at work recently -__-

I can't find anyone anywhere that is willing to sell the grill by itself, everyone wants to sell the entire bumper only.

I'm in Australia, so anyone is Aus or NZ who has one laying around or knows where i can get one, that would be great.

Japan Autoparts are way too expensive. They wanted $650 for the GT-4 bumper, in terrible condition, without the foam inserts, the grill or the foglights.

I got my GT-4 bumper, without fog lights, but with the rest, from a place called Asian Auto spares in Underwood QLD for $200 =)

Yeah, there is a little cover thing you can get. it came with mine, but i took it off.

I'm in the same boat as you. but i left my cover off. Had it like that for months now... not an issue at all. never had anything go wrong with it...

I'm pretty sure its only an issue if your electrics get wet, or your air filter gets soaked.. don't quote me on that though

well i possibly have some good news. I just found a guy selling the GT4 bumpers. and at quite a decent price i might add. Hopefully the (soon to be) wifey will loosen the leash a little bit so i can buy one. (i'm thinking i should buy a full one all over again seeming as though they are hard to get a hold of plus i need the fog lights) then i can sell the old one, and my original bumper and maybe re-coupe some of my losses.

Yeah i have an alarm on it, but i don't use it much because i goes off all the time, like if a car parks next to it it will go off, if a mobile phone goes off within like 3 meters it goes off. If i look at it angrily it goes off...

I looked at surveillance, but KFC being the multi-million dollar conglomerate that it is, is one of the cheapest companies i've ever heard of, and the surveillance doesn't cover the whole carpark, and you can only see the rear end of my car...

I wouldn't say we have more alcoholics, it's just the ones that are are more dedicated...

And the women. Yes, yes they do... in my experiences anyway...

So now i look at the side of my car and smile, then i get to the front and die a little on the inside

I also doubt it is another 6gc owner anyway. I don't see too many. Not to be arrogant, but its always the nicest car in the carpark (poor suburb).

Hi all, just coming on here to vent my frustration.

So I am a manager at KFC, and part of my job is to sometimes go to another store and help out when they have shortages/management on holidays.

So I got moved to a store in a Suburb called Springwood, about 20 minutes away from my house. And I was to be there for 8 weeks.


My very first night, someone stole my antenna from my car. Took the whole thing out. Now that I can handle, i never use the radio ever, and i wanted to do the S2000 swap anyway...


So skip forward to this afternoon, my last shift at the store. On my way home I stopped for fuel, and as I walk away I look back at my baby (as we all do right?) and what do I see...

Someone has stolen the grill from my bumper and given me a nasty 5x5cm square scratch on my bumper

To make matters worse I have recently done a GT-4 Front end swap...

I'm so angry right now...

yeah thats a pretty good price, i pain $9200 a year ago and the window tint was bad and it had some sun damage, so i would say you got a great deal

Very clean car, looks nice.

Oh and your not limited to FWD, with the GT-4 Transmission you can change it to AWD, but you need the rear cradle and other stuff

Really, your not paying a cent for Gt4 engine, brakes, transmission & suspension!!!

haha, yeah the tow hitch is not a permanent fixture at all, i'm just the only car in my household who can tow a trailer, it came off the day after i took the photos, i hate having it on.

I'll take some photos of the sun damage, the worst of it is on the original bonnet, so i got rid of most of it with the replacement, but some spots are just a bit faded, plus with the new bumper and new bonnet, the colour does't quite match up. I'll take some interior shots too.

Also wondering what you guys think of the rims? i bought them for my 5th gen and just moved them over, some people tell me they love them on, and some people say its the first thing to go. i like them on, but i know there are rims that are better suited, just wondering what you guys reckon

yeah i just got the projectors and the new bumper last week, still need to get the rubber seal for in between the hood and the bumper, and get GT4 fog lights

Also planning a paint job some time in 2010. Some places are very sun damaged.

and of course a 6gc.net sticker is in the works haha
