Hello 6gc just wanted to comment on how beautiful this gt is. I recently picked up some parts from axel and he showed me this car and it is very impressive! Awesome car clean inside and out whoever ends up with this vehicle will be very pleased.

I'm about to have this done to my 94 ST! I ordered headers, a cherry bomb (glasspack style) resonator, and a high flow muffler canister style with a 4in tip (burnt) but I'm using a 2.5in piping mandrel bent from the headers back with no cat. I'm looking to have a nice deep throaty tone and be very loud!!! biggrin.gif:D I will post pics of the before and after and maybe a video if it sounds decent on camera.

I'll definitely be doing this soon. Just need to find an event.

May14 (Saturday) there will be one in St. Petersburg, I think with the same club as in the video. I'll be going to that one. If you want I can get you more info on it and maybe I won't be the only celica tongue.gif

That's pretty sweet.

Do they let you learn the course at all before you auto cross?

Yes they do, they let you walk the course to try and map out the route you'll take, however we were a little late and my first time learning was the parade lap lol!

QUOTE (Tigawoods @ Apr 18, 2011 - 9:18 PM) *
good vid!
seemed like a simple course till the later 3rd of it. i gasped when you where gunning for that set of cones haha. hope you had fun! I know I did my first time.

Yea it was a blast! I went with a friend of mine that has done a few of them so I caught on pretty quick, went with an instructor and he gave me some tips. Great day of fun I highly recomend this to anyone that has an urge to race tongue.gif

Auto crossing 94 ST So here is a video of my first autocross event with my pretty much stock 1994 celica ST. The only thing that I've done in terms of modifications are lowering springs and new struts, other than that it's bone stock-I had a great time, definitely a new hobby! biggrin.gif

Maybe I'm wrong but a car like the miata weighs probably couple hundred pounds lighter than the celica and it's RWD so the tranny isn't completely up front, the mr2 is a Mid engine RWD so most of it's weight is in the back, so with these cars I don't think powersteering assists the driver as much as it would the celica since it's FWD; most of it's weight is up front, on top of the wheels that turn, so the lack of power steering will be much more noticeable/troublesome than in one of the previously stated cars. kindasad.gif

Ok so I recently picked up a set of 7th gen GTS wheels off a car in the junkyard (5th gen celi) Anyway I got them home cleaned them up and noticed that they had a bad case of rust bubbles, also I had gotten tires with them but ended up returning them since they were pretty dry rotted. So I have these GTS wheels and I've been thinking about re-finishing them for awhile, and since I'm about to spend a few hours chipping off the rust bubbles, sanding and priming them, minus well paint them something different and "cool". Soo...I'm really leaning toward painting them white, just was wondering what's everyone's thoughts on this? Granted I have a black car so there will be a pretty big contrast that is bound to catch eyes, however I'm just not sure if it'll be more negative than positive. Any thoughts and advice is appreciated biggrin.gif maybe pics if someone has painted their 7th gen GTS wheels or whatever tongue.gif

Ok so i have a 1994 celica ST with 165k miles. I know the engine puts out roughly 110 HP and I'd like to increase it to 150ish without having to supercharge or turbo it, most of the turbo celicas around here sound and look very bad and beat up, and honestly i don't want to spend the money. So what are my options to increase horsepower?
