D100, nice.  Musta been able to simulate some fast film, at f16 it'd have to be a long exposure with a conventional... anyone have any shots on infrared film?  That could look good.

Had my ISO set to 1600, so yeah. wink.gif

Also, it's not too hard to simulate IR film with the D100 and p-shop. I've been playing around with that myself. Here's one IR experiment that I did...

Most short shifters actually increase the effort it takes to shift. That's a common by-product of reworking the angles of the shifter. The factory designed it to reduce effort (hence the factory knob being so heavy). To shorten the throw, you would have to increase effort.

My short throw shifter is from TWM, and was cheaper than the TRD unit. Still works great after two years, too. wink.gif

do you have a problem with the wearing of your khumo supra 712's?

Funny you should ask that. My old 712's (205/40-17) wore out very quickly. My new 712's (215/45-17) have lasted alot longer.

Maybe the lower profile (stiffer sidewall) contributed to the accelerated wear? What size are yours?

What'd you shoot with?

Nikon D100, 20 seconds @ F16.

The only lighting on the car was from nearby freeway traffic.

QUOTE (boosted_K2 @ Apr 3, 2004 - 4:45 PM)
why is there a filter at the end of the BOV?? if it is blowing the air off to the atmosphere, why do you need it filtered?

When shifting fast, there's a possibility of the intake sucking air back in through the BOV, if it doesn't slam shut fast enough. Putting a filter on it is a smart thing to do. wink.gif

The knob for the fan speed broke on my '94 ST. Does anyone have a parts car that I could buy the knob off of? I'm going to try and go by the dealer and see how much they want, but was hoping I could just PayPal someone a couple of bucks for one. Let me know... biggrin.gif

The previous owner of my car got alot of those, but I never have. I chalk it up to the fact that he's 18 and I'm 29. wink.gif

I'd say fight it as much as you can.

Got any pics of them on? Seems like the cops would leave you alone if you put amber bulbs in them, though. Or does that defeat the purpose? wink.gif
