If you have an abs pump (*circled in red/white below*) you have abs.

Their was a thread a couple of years ago about the same problem turned out oreilly auto was giving out 5th gen (90-93 Celicas) s53 trans axles as 6th gen (94-99 Celicas) s54 trans axles u "might" be having the same problems although I had a refurb pass front axle from oreilly on my old 6th gen celi and never had a problem (I installed it myself too). I believe the 5th gen celicas had a shorter (PF) axle length then the 6th gen and a member was having similar issues with his axles falling off he later found out that oreilly's was giving him 5th gen axles.

Easy fix I used some extra all weather pipe insulation I had in the garage don't remember the exact size but it fit like a glove and no more noise oh I also painted my ST sway bars red with hi temp engine paint looked awesome even 5 years later wished I took some pics sadly sold my celi a while back.

*Example*

*The insulation I used was smaller then the example picture above btw

It was only a small area the front ST sway bar was rubbing against if u jack up the car and look under should be easy to tell where its rubbing against I think it was less then 3inch under the driver side honestly took me less then 30min to fix back in 2004 lol

Also if you plan on painting the bars make sure u sand, prep and primer correctly for better quality and longer life.

A clutch normally lasts up to 5 years* I've seen clutches go out in less then 3 months it all depends on the driver, is he charging you labor to install the new clutch ?? If I was rebuilding someones motor I would just charge them for parts only because he does know that changing the rear main seal (part of rebuild) requires you to take the clutch out right ?? So why charge someone extra for labor when you have to remove the clutch anyways ??

Having the motor rebuild is definitely a better choice and having a mechanic with a reputable reputation and that you trust will benifit you even more. Like I've told a lot of people it doesn't matter where you get your car service it all depends on the person doing the work.

How long do u plan on keeping this car ?? If u say a year then just fix the oil leak if u say for a couple of years around 5 years just rebuild your engine. Parts alone would cost around $500 not including labor charges.

This is his 7afe rebuilt thread this should give u an idea of whats needed and how it goes down.

What year is your car ?? How many miles ?? When did this problem start ?? What was the last mod/maintenance you did ?? Seriously if you don't even know how to post your car info you expect help ?? Well since I'm not a master mechanic (like the rest of these guys who posted) I would found out what the CEL is before I start diagnosing parts.

CEL=Check Engine Light

**I'm just joking about the master mechanic part so don't start throwing a tantrum lol**

Buy the koyo oem style radiator I had it in my celica for over 4+ years and it still looked brand new, when I sold my car the new owner though I had just recently installed it but I told him I had it in the car for over 4+ years lol still looked and perform like new after all those years very solid radiator and fitment was perfect too no cutting or welding or anything also bolts right up to the factory fans no drilling either.

If my dad did this to your car I would gladly video tape you beating some sense into him, I don't care if your someones son, brother, husband, or dad you don't have the right to do this to someone just because your mad you lost your job and if I did that I would've let them do the same to me too but I can guarantee you it won't happen to me because I was raised better then this to respect people and their property.

My dad did in fact lose his job a year ago with the rest of the millions of Americans but he didn't go blaming foreign cars or vandalizing other peoples property he did what a real "Man" would do he looked for a job first thing because he knows he has a family to support not go to the nearest bar and get drunk and cause problems. The only person the old guy should blame if he's mad he lost his job is GM they closed their plant down and moved it to China fired him then blamed foreign cars for it ?? Grow up GM and start taking responsibility for your actions and stop making excuses and blaming others clearly this old guy knows nothing about the company he worked for.

People have to realize that their are consequences when you vandalize someone else's property even if the guy reported it to the police all their gonna do is write a report and throw it in the garbage nothings ever done when your property's stolen or vandalize they just wait till it shows up in pieces or write it off and the owner ends up picking the tab, I consider it personal injury because the owners gonna have to find a way to pay for it not the person who did the damage.

All in all I just hope the old guy learns his lesson...

The old guy admitted he spray painted 6 other cars before he got to the evo he got what he deserved you don't have the right to do this to anyone's property he apologized after he lost the fight and the old guy is NOT disabled he is NOT in a wheel chair he is NOT in the hospital on life support he as you can clearly see can walk, talk, drive a car, and guess what ?? SPRAY PAINT CARS !! I'm glad the dude knocked some sense into him.

Subaru BRZ Review by "Car And Driver"
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2013-s...st-drive-review

I hope those aren't the real numbers because they are disappointing it's as fast as a 2012 FWD Civic Si with the msrp price tag of a WRX but if the frs sells well I'm sure toyota will bring back the supra they need a performance car between the frs and LFA people are getting bored of the corolla/matrix xrs.

IMO if you want a new FR car I think a 2012 v6 mustang is a better bang for your buck cost less, more power and has great reviews on it too.

The car looks horrible I'm glad I picked up a EvoX instead of waiting for this car, a used 13 year old mkiv supra is a better bargain looks and performance wise.

I would buy them just to decorate my room with I would never put them on my car and I think I bought my front hawk pads for that price minus the brembos.

To me it's just not worth my safety just to have fancy rotors plus I don't want to look like an idiot when the rotors crack and my car goes off road or into a lake. laugh.gif

I prefer the 05+ RSX-Type S they're very nice cars its what I'd imagine a 8th gen celica non-gt4 would drive and perform like, the rsx type s is imo 100x better then the 7th gen celica I hated the 7th gen celica what a big disappointment to me...

VTEC JUST KICKED IN NOOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously by reading your original post nothing adds up we don't have drive by wire so resetting the battery would do you no good if your gas pedal was stuck.
