sup everyone!!! i've been really busy but im finally back.... i decided to keep the celica and rebuild the motor. i got a new block and tore it down. out came the pistons and rods and the have been shipped out to ROSS to get a custom set forged. anyways they do offer a group discount on pistons so if anyone wants a custom set of pistons from ROSS (the best) let me know. It is only for the 1.8L because thats wut mine is.
Rods are running for $725 and the pistons are $650. If u guys want SRP or JE pistons i can get those for cheaper.

Im considering to sell the turbo kit that was custom built for my celica. It uses top of the line parts - Turbonetics t-04 turbo, turbonetics external deltagate, Apex'i GT-spec FMIC ( from an R-34 skyline ), Apex'i Dual Chamber BOV, custom made exhaust manifold ( designed by RevHard ), polished intercooler piping, custom fabricated downpipe, custom fabricated downtube.

Ill also throw in the greddy boost guage ($100) and an Apex'i AVC-R ($675)!!!! oh and a Greddy oil relocator kit if u want (looks really hot)

Looking to sell around $3500 its ready to bolt up to ur ST block. Good to b daily driven at around 7-8 lbs. Can be raced and pushed to 11 lbs. on stock internals. Dont run it everyday at 11 lbs to preserve the life of ur block.

If ur really interested we'll work out a deal. Maybe will throw in a Veilside front bumper!!!!

Either PM me or just leave a post. Check out my profile for pics of the turbo inside my car. Looks really clean!!! THX

honestly if i could go back in time, i would have gotten the 3s-gte swap instead of turboing the ST. It was really fun to drive and the power was there, but u end up just wanting more. So im going 3sgte in 2 weeks!! =)

well u guys have hav emost of the mods listed. You dont need to up the injectors actually. If u are planning on running more than 11 lbs on it then u defiantely need to. People suggest to up the injectors wen ur duty cylce is higher than 75%. Wen i was boosting 11 lbs my dury cycle was set at around 65-66 % to attain the boost level. Oh and charlie i gots a custom downpipe too if u or anyone else needs one to build their ST project. An EGT is not a must but very helpful. I wish i had one so i could check my exhaust temp cuz its been burning really hot recently. Intake side of the piping is cool but exhaust side is hot... ****ing weird wen most people say the are both supposed to be cool. Well good to u all building ur celicas. If anyone needs a custom exhaust manifold or a turbonetics delta gate please message me. Im looking to sell them.

the tranny is good..... sort of.. hasnt gave up on me ever and its been over a year now since the turbo. HOwever the tranny oil is always hot and ****ed up, but that's cuz of my driving. If u had turbo wouldnt u bone out everywhere u went? Im at the street races alot too soo i ran the car hard aften. Im getting the motor swap because i want to run higher boost. Thx for all the opinions. I want to keep the ST block, but theres just not enough power and potential in it ( my goal is to have 450 hp at the wheels and an 11sec street car).

If ur squeezing at high speeds and high gears to save ur tranny, u wont be doing much to save ur motor. Ur motor cant take that much power and squeezing at high gears or on uphills will blow ur motor pretty fast. My homie blew his motor squeezing in 5th gear racing a porcshe. it was a civic SI tho =/

Boosting 11 lbs my car hit low 14s. T4 turbo, deltagate, Apex'i intercooler from an R-34, and full list of mods inside my profile. All on a stock ST block. Motor feels good but i know it is about to go... =/ 3s-gte coming in 2 weeks. hopefully ill get everything on my ST now bolted up to the 3sgte. =)

Well after a little more than a year of boosting my motor is finally seeing the effects of turbo. Stock internals boosting 11 PSI. Anyways i have an internal oil leak (piston rings and valves). This is really frustrating!! So i have 2 options now. 1.) get a short block, blueprinted balanced, port and polished, pistons,..... everything i need to boost 14lbs out of an ST block. or 2.) complete 3s-gte swap.

ive wanted a 3sgte for forever now so im leaning towards taht. the only reason y i would consider the new custom short block is because i can still drive my car while they are assembling the new block. but with the 3sgte my car would be in the shop for quite awhile....

icic well on the dyno cold air produces about 2-4 more hp so if that worth 240 bucks to u then go for it.

Theres not really a huge difference b/t short ram and cold air. The injen intake is a really good intake for the celica. I had the short ram from the GT on my ST and it was pretty nice. Think i got mine out he door for 140. if ur interested i can get a price for u and find out how much shipping would be. 200 is wayy too much. Its cheaper b/c injen doesnt consider it an intake... they say its an adaptor ( short pipe and filter).

heres a building trick that will work and actually has a 6G celica running 9.5s Its basically an ls/vtec for toyotas. U get a 5s bottom end and bolt a 3s-gte head on it. makes huge power but i bet it would cost alot to do.

dont kow if u can really tell by looking. Veilside will have much higher quality fiberglass. wont crack wen i hit curbs bumps, etc.... i had an erebuni front end and cracked it 3 times. Have the veilside one now and its holding up perfect. hit a parking stump once and the bumper didnt chip scratch or crack.
