When I did mine i used smartshoppersinc.com. They had a good deal on urethane and clear and primer; it all came in a kit, which was nice for me because I was starting from the beginning. Fortunately, I was able to borrow my dad's gun and compressor. Just like everyone else was saying, make sure you do the prep work well the first time and then sand out the runs and everything and give it a good buff afterwards. Coomer did a really good thread on how he did his too, I really liked it. Good luck man! |

Yeah, I'm going to second what Mike said. I never really posted and I've been on the site for around 3 years, all because I like to use the search function first and then if I can't find what I'm looking for I'll ask. But seriously, so many things have been covered from 5SGE/5SGTE swaps to v6 swaps and everything else, it's hard to not find what you're looking for. Thanks so much guys, this site is amazing. |

Replace the thermostat anyways, if it'll help at all, and for $6 you really can't go wrong. It'll be a step in the right direction at the very least |

Mine did the same thing, but I didn't have a stock alarm. After going in and looking at the box, turned out the people who installed it didn't ground it very well, so I drilled a new hole and ground it. Works perfectly now. Maybe it's a ground or a short like FrankB2 was saying. |

Don't get it at the dealer. It was my last option, and it cost $95! The part number from the toyota dealership is 90925-05068. It's a valve, I thought it was a vacuum switch but the receipt says BIM valve. Good luck! |
