I was thinking about getting an after market ignition for my car but i wanted to know if any here owns one and if they think its worth the money. I also wanted to know who makes the easiest to install ignition for a 94 gt. I know crane cams makes one because its listed in the parts database but what is needed to install it? |

I have a centerforce dual friction cluth and a clutch masters lightened flywheel, honestly i didnt notice a large different in the rpm revs when i first got it but i did notice faster acceleration. i payed about 500 dollars for the flywheel and i would do it again, it depends on if it is worth it to you. |

I recently had some work done to my car, new head gasket, and all the parts associated with changing that. I was messing with the pvc valve on the intake manifold and brittle hose broke well when i started the car obviously it was sucking in too much air and made my idle very erratic well this caused, (well i think it is the cause), my check engine light to come on. I have fixed the problem and put on a new pvc valve and reset the ecu countless number of times but the damn check engine light comes on still. So i did the diagnosis where the light blinks a certain amount of times to tell you the error code and it said it was something to do with the rpm signal. I can find nothing wrong with the car and the damn light is still there??? I dont know how to get it off or fix whats wrong to get it off, i can find anything wrong!! Anyone have any ideas? |

Ok i think i have figgured out that the reason it is overheating is that the exhaust gases are leaking into the coolant system somewhere but i dont know where that could be does any one have an idea???? |

At first my car overheated and i had it towed back to my house. I changed the thermostat, radiator, coolant, and flushed the system but for some unknown reason the tends to overheat after five minutes of usage under driving, it doesnt do it when it idles. So i looked at the thermostat and modified it to make sure water was consistantly flowing but it had no effect. Also the heater inside the cabin doesnt blow hot air when the car is overheating. Anyone have any ideas???? |

Actually i was wondering the same thing because i had almost the exact same thing happen to my car. I think i will just use this as an excuse to get a bodykit, I am thinking about the Any's Auto Sport body kit but i dont know where to get it from or what the sides or the back of the kit look like. Anyone have any info on this? |

I also have a question kinda relating to this, if he changes his tranny to something other than stock would he have to change his pressure plate or clutch disc or does he only have to do that when he puts in a new engine? I also was thinking of getting a new tranny not sure what to go with, but i think mine might be dying:( |

My clutch recently started slipping, (last night), and its pretty bad and i need a new one, so i went today and ordered the centerforce dual friction clutch from nopi. I think it might be the best in terms of value/performance because this one was only 225.00 from nopi and cm's is 290 or so and UR's is like 400 or so. But now i also wanna change my flywheel i am leaning towards the clutchmasters flywheel because it is about 100 dollars less than the UR flywheel does anyone know where i can buy this flywheel from? Nopi sells it but i didnt know if there was a place that would have it cheaper. Also any feedback on the centerforce dual friction clutch and the clutch masters flywheel would be appreciated. I have a 94gt in case you wanna know. |

Centerforce makes a dual friction clutch which offers a 90% increase in holding capacity for the gt and its only like 220 at nopi, clutch masters and UR make a lightened flywheel for the gt, the unorthodox seems like a better flywheel but thats just my oppinion. |

I saw under the parts database that aerospeed header is listed as a part for the 7afe and 5sfe engine. But as many of you already know, the aerospeed website doesnt list a header for the st204/gt/5sfe engine. It only lists 00-02 celica and 94-99 but doesnt say if its for the st or the gt. So i would like to know if anyone knows if there is ANY header for the 5sfe/st204/usdm gt/ engine/car? Those should all be references to the same car. |

I am not really replying to comment on the wheels but i did want to add that if you are planning to buy them from import store.com you cant go wrong, I ordered some tenzo r's and the shipping was fast and price was unbeatable. Great place to buy rims. |

I read a lot of posts of people asking exactly what size the front speakers are because even though they are listed as 6 3/4 they really sit in an 8 in. hole and that i understand but what about the back speakers. I have heard 2 different things some people have said they replaced them with 6.5 speakers and they fit perfectly but some people say they are 6 and 3/4 speakers. I want to replace my back speakers and i would like to know what size would be a perfect fit has anyone here done that and have more information on it? I also have a 94 us gt celica with tweeters on the door frame and a factory 2 din cd/tape player if that makes any difference. |
