My 100 series is probably my favorite vehicle.

I dig it! Do you have the factory rear locker?

Sadly no mines an 02 and that option stopped in 2000 I believe. Still its fantastic and eventually I want to do some cosmetic stuff to it.

Is it a genuine TRD kit?

As far as I know it is. It came with my gt4 front end when I got it.

I've decided it's finally time to sell my celica. After going through mechanically top to bottom and getting it ready for paint I just don't have the time I use to. Beams swap was completed in 2016, engine and trans have less than 55k on them. Timing belt and water pump was done at this time, as well as front and rear brakes. Car is riding on tein coil overs with poly bushings, and ST swaybars. GT4 front end conversion with projector lights and jdm tails as well. Chassis has 250k miles about with the engine having 55k. Car currently was in the process of being stripped down for paint in body work. Two small dents on the driver side quarter with the worst damage being on the passenger side quarter. Id say its a significant dent that will require a good shop. I have new trim pieces, rear quarter glass, random jdm bits and such to put the car together just do not have the time. Please feel free to ask any questions. Im asking $4500 but I'm open to offers, pictures are located in a Google drive folder below

That's what I was thinking when I was watching the Subaru plug change videos and then between comments and everyone making memes on how hard it was, I was like bitch please you've never seen a LT-1 F-body. laugh.gif

V6 is a bitch too. Helped my friend with the coil packs on his 96. Geez it was that was a pain....

It’s not the worst thing but there’s stuff in the way. Celica is much easier but the subie is thankfully no fbody.

Did a spark plug change in the subie today. Wasn’t terrible but definitely wasn’t fun.... one of the times I was glad I had a NA car.

This weekend I cleaned up the Subie, looks damn good. Still merc yo do the interior but today was horribly windy and didn’t want to back it out and risk it getting dirty again. I’ll try to grab some pics tomorrow. Need to do some work on the car it’s got a chunk out of the passenger side cv and the drivers side is cracked so I’ll do both. Also going to change the fluid in the trans, and change the heat shield on the exhaust. After all that it should be all good.

Sigh... and the crushing depression where I feel like ending it all is back... My brain is back to burning and it feels like I'm underwater. It's like a roller coaster, but in your head, and you go from the highest highs to the lowest lows and you're never in between for long. That and the roller coaster is never the same and you never know what to expect. Maybe I should see if therapy is covered by insurance, but I don't want to be labeled. I'm fairly certain I'm bi-polar, but that's my business and the internet's. Probably nothing will work anyway, I was on anti-depressants at one point through my general practitioner and they did nothing. It's like... meh... I'm tired of crap never doing anything...

Psychologist man. It really turned my life around. It’s worth the money. Only caveat is you have to want to get better. Many people I know try it and just don’t seem to want to change. Also make sure you find a good one.

That's ok I watched a video on a bug-eye WRX and he mentioned the clutch being stiff(the first someone mentioned it in all the videos I watched), so I was like "You have to be ****ing kidding me right?" So I searched and sure enough, forum posts all across the internet asking why the pedal is so stiff... Apparently Subaru dealers of the time had lots of consumer complaints on it according to one post, so much so they lightened it for the newer generation. Which many said it wasn't that bad, but compared to a Miata or Civic it was definitely heavier. So I guess it's around the Firebird if not possibly worse somehow. Oh well, and after I was really warming up to them too...

Even my stock clutch is a bit heavier than the average clutch but it is mechanical.... Subarus are just weird......

You think 2600ib is heavy? The **** you smoking? Weight of the civic was only 100ib less and the celica is built much better. If you want to shed weight you can do so without sacrificing quality by going with lighter wheels and a gt4 front which gives you the aluminum hood. I wouldn't call our cars heavy by any means though.

My next car will be a brand new Toyota. I plan on getting a TRD PRO Tacoma when I pay down my student debt.

The perfect match for crappy American roads! *waits for pics*

Well I already have poly bushings and all that so I figured wat the heck, plus I scored a really good deal on this set. Now the car is actually higher and I plan on running a taller tire.

Don't understand the "hatred" for the 5th gen 4Runner here honestly. Haven't spent much time in a 4th but from my small amount in it, I liked the 5ths interior leagues over it, and just the over all feel. The only thing that I've heard a lot of is the underpower but you buy a 4Runner to go over mountains not win races.

That's why they don't put remote start on manual equipped cars, it's a great way to commit suicide and your family still collect the life insurance money though since it'll look like an accident.

Tell that to the previous owner..... I now longer use the crappy after markert keyfob provided and now use the stock Subaru one as well as leave my car in 4th when I park instead of reverse.
