I have for sale a few items for our cars. Everything is best offer, so feel free to offer whatever you like. I am willing to ship the items anywhere provided that the buyer is willing to pay the shipping cost to their location.

I have four stock 15" alloy wheels with four snow tires mounted on them. Two of the wheels have Cooper Weather-Master S/T2 tires, the other two have Nankang Snow Viva SV-1 tires. The Cooper tires are 205/55 R15, and the Nankang are 195/55 R15. The wheels are in excellent condition for their age. With a bit of restoration they can easily look brand new. The tires are also in very good condition, with lots of tread left. They were only used for about one season.

Tread levels:

I also have the stock wheel lug nuts that came with the car. There are 16 regular lug nuts, 4 wheel lock lug nuts, and 1 wheel lock nut remover.

I also have one Toyo Observe G-03 snow tire. The size is 205/55 R15. I don't know why anyone would need only one tire, but it is for sale as well if anyone wants it.

I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in buying some used Konig Hotswap w/ S-Drive tires on them. Ball park would be $275+shipping (pick up ok) for them. I'll post pics in a little bit, I just want to see first if anyone would even be interested.

Thanks,
J

That $275 for all four? Tread on the tires?

I was looking at these rims for my Celica. The guy told me he would sell me all four rims and three tires (one was bad so he tossed it) for $300. The rim seems pretty wide so I was wondering if any of you knew whether or not they would fit on our cars. Bolt battern is 5X100 and the tire size is 235/40/R17. Here is the link to the ad:

I want a new intake for my celi. I want a decent aftermarket intake, that gives a bit of a performance boost (obviously I'm not expecting anything drastic), and I also want one that sounds pretty good. Cold air or short ram are both fine.

I just want to see any possible options I have, so if any of you have spare intakes that you want to get rid of, show me what you got.

If it isn't already taken, I need the fuse box cover from the inside of the car. Let me know how much you want to ship it to Ottawa, Canada.

The story is the factory grease on the lock actuators and window guides is freezing. There's only one real fix and that is to remove the door panel and use a a spray grease cleaner to remove the factory grease and replace it with a spray white lithium grease with teflon. It won't freeze and you shouldn't have this problem again.

Perfect, that's exactly what I needed. I'm going to try this sometime this week and see how it goes. I'm assuming I can get the lithium grease from Canadian Tire, or a hardware store? Hopefully this will work. Thanks a lot.

Haha well you know, you never know when you need to, um, air the car out. lol

I live in Ottawa, Canada, and we get really harsh winters. On some days in the winter, the temperature can even drop to -30°C (-22°F).

Yesterday, it was -10°C (14°F), and I had my celica parked outside my work for about 5 hours. When I went to get in my car at the end of my shift, the locks wouldn't open. When I pushed the unlock button on my remote, I could hear the locks opening, but they wouldn't turn all the way, so I still couldn't get in the car. I tried using the key to unlock the door as well, with no luck.

I ended up having to open the trunk and hop over both seats to get to the driver's seat so that I could get home.

The same thing happens with the power windows. When the car has been sitting in the cold, they don't open. Also, for the locks, the driver's door seems to get stuck more often then the passenger door.

So I have no idea what to do. The only solution I can think of at the moment is to not lock my doors when it's cold. Has this problem happened to anybody else? Our winters last pretty long too, so I have to figure something out...

Yeah I think I'm just going to fix it back up. Hood isn't damaged at all, just bumper, fender and headlight. I really wanna paint the whole thing black; black gt-four = hotness;

+1 for the black GT-Four.

BTW, just out of curiosity, what was the other guy driving?

Yeah, I can't decide if I want to go back to Gt-Four front end or just go back to stock and sell the remaining Gt-Four parts frown.gif. I'm thinking the latter at this point...

Are you getting any insurance money? If the kid was at fault then his should pay out, right? Also, can't really tell from the pics, which parts are damaged? It looks like it's only the bumper, fender, and lights...

P.S. -- Just cause some teen drivers are irresponsible, doesn't mean we all are wink.gif

just take the antena out and fill the hole, paint it, and get a shark fin antena smile.gif they look sick! without being this long old fashion antena like we have. that way you will never have to extend it and also you will always get good reception

If I only had that kind of money.

The mast has the track which raises/lowers it integrated, but you could probably pull the motor, remove the antenna from the motor and lower the mast, then cut the track off.

However, is it an issue of the motor not working, or the mast track being broken? If you can hear the motor working when you turn the radio on/off, I'd suggest visiting your dealer and spending the $20 for a new mast. In all probability the plastic track inside the mast broke, locking the mast in place. It's a 30-minute repair.

Nope, no motor running. That doesn't necessarily mean the motor is broken though. There's an aftermarket deck in the car, so the previous owner might have wired the power antenna wrong.

My power antenna on my car is broken, it was like that when I bought it. Right now, it is stuck in the fully extended position, but I still get good reception. It hate how it looks all the way up, especially since I rarely listen to radio. I have tried forcing it down, with no luck. My question is, is there any way that I could take out the mast or whatever from the inside, so that when I'm not listening to the radio, the antenna can be down, and on the rare occasion that I do need to listen to the radio, I can get out of my car and manually extend the antenna? What do you guys think?

So would you guys recommend one 12" sub instead? I just want some really good bass (most of the music I listen to is heavy on bass), and I do not want to pay too much. I also want the box to look decent, and still have access to the spare. Any ideas? Just remember that I live in Canada so we're not as blessed as you guys are when it comes to deals...
