No Jcbass, If you go to the shop linked by 3sgeR, and scroll down to the lester set. That is the Eurou Front lip that fits both St205 and the ST202/AT200 from 96++ If im not mistaken myself. I was once trying to get a hold of one myself, but settled with spats as the Eurou lip got destroyed when shipped sadly. |

Today a Toyota mechanic diagnosed my car.... Gotta replace wheel bearing, front left shock and CV joint. Quoted me 1400 in parts alone. Gotta find some second hand parts! At autozone the strut is $80, the axle is $60, and the bearing is prolly $120 to $200. The strut and axle have a lifetime warranty, the bearing a 1-3 year. Not as high of quality as the genuine toyota parts but much cheaper. If you do the labor yourself its a great deal but if your paying a mechanic for labor then the warranties dont help out as much. You might want to replace both sides BTW, not that you have to but these parts tend to wear equally on both sides of the vehicle.(actually quicker on the passenger side because most drivers hit more speedbumps and potholes with the pass side) Thanks for the advice, but unfortunatly i live in Norway. We dont have all those stores over here. Im prob gonna end up buying some CV joint kits on ebay for 200$ shipped, and complete wheel hubs with working bearings so it will be bolt on. Think im gonna buy 1 shock of toyota though, as it need to be fixed to pass the EU regulations. I will be mounting my D2 coils after the EU inspection, but as the D2 arnt TUV approved i cant have them on during the inspection. So in total i guess ill end up with about 500$ total. The shocks wasnīt that expensive, at ONLY 250$ a piece. And about the wearing. I replaced the CV joint on the passenger side last year. and will most probably replace both this time as well, to get equal wear. But yeah, expensive parts! No track day for a couple weeks |

Well yes, in the ST (7AFE) the shoulder pads are slightly smaller, so there will be a bit access room there, but can either be sorted by a bit of foam, or just let i be ( its not THAT big of a deal). When i changed to GT (3sge) seats my covers fitted perfectly and didnīt have the access on the shoulder pads. So atleast there is 2 different types of the Celica seats that i know of, and the Vincent mold is made from the GT seats. There are different lengths of seatback too That can have a massive impact on the fit. Ok, i havent seen that yet, but I know you touch a fair lot more seats then I do |

Whether the seats are cloth or Leather originally doesnt matter. You just remove the original covers, and put the new ones on. Its really simple, though a bit time consuming. Took me and a friend 3 hours to do the swap. The result is awsome |

Thank you for the help guys, but i found out that my CV joint was missing a C-clip on the edge of the driveshaft that goes through the ball bearing. So there was nothing to keep the driveshaft from slipping through and out of the joint. Atleast i HOPE that is my problem. Got the ring from Toyota, and will try to install as soon as the rain settles... Thanks again |

Hello, In need of a bit help here. Have just swapped a 3SGE into my AT200. But the passenger side driveshaft keep popping out of the wheelhouse. Or it popps out of the CV joint. Have watched some diagrams on toyodiy, but cannot find out if there should be a snap ring in the joint there? Cause there are none in my driveshaft assembly atm. Anyone familiar to how this CV joint should be rebuild? I took it apart yesterday and rebuild it and regreased, but the new grease just made it pop out even quicker! So now the car is just sitting going nowhere. And i can't even find the partsnr. on toyodiy.... Anyone that could help me with this? |

If its a 3SGTE I thinks its very wrong of them to say its a corolla engine, its just as much a GT4 engine! |

Hello, I am currently doing this swap in norway together with Iceman22 that has done it to his car. On the european model ST there arenīt that much u need to change, but u need a parts car! Differences: Engine ECU and wiring loom Front brakes Exhaust is 2" on GT and 1,75 on ST Drive shafts Transmission Engine mounts, but they bolt in the same holes in the engine bay, so its really easy. Rear brakes are the same. My ST had ABS, and the UK GT st202 jap import did NOT have ABS. At the moment my cars are shells as im waiting for a new clutch to the 3SGE. The suspension WILL be different if you buy a SSIII. |
