Where can I get that nice plug for the diagnostic port? Edit: Nm found it. Has this proven to work using a USB to RS232 adapter? or are you saying it will. Last time I checked, the required DTR/RTS lines were not connected in the adapters I was looking into. |

Anybody got a used one? I just need the bolt that holds the idler onto the bracket cause I broke mine and apparently there is no separate part number for it? the bolt that holds the bracket to the head is fine, just need the other bolt. the timing belt idler pulley im talking about is 13505-88480 but i dont need the whole thing. Not sure if the 1st or 2nd gen 3sgte engines have a similar bolt? but my 5s doesn't (i looked) |

Long story short, 2 months ago I had a shop rebuild the short block of my stock st205 3sgte with 86.5mm Wossner (9055D050) pistons + eagle rods. Now whats my estimated C/R with the stock head to get 8:1 C/R? what thickness HG do I need? |

I use the feature on my Viper alarms... press unlock, it makes it think my door is ajar (hence turning on the lights) for 30 seconds or another condition is met. Doesn't "dim" like the new cars but it works. |

Can anyone confirm if a wheel hub from a 5th gen would work on a 6th? no ABS. There was a post a few years back saying some guy used one from a 5g and it worked. Reason is I have 5 knuckles for 5th gens and I have a bad hub on my 6th gen ![]() I pulled off 3 hubs from and one hub has the race loosely spinable so I'm guessing that hub is toast? |

Yeah I have one also but for some reason it wouldn't tilt very much I thought it was bottoming out on the center member but it ended up being I think the front motor mount getting wedged with the bracket |

well the driver wheel was gonna come out anyways to pull out the axle. I ended up using a long extension and my impact gun to remove that rear mount bolt. I've pulled a handful of engines so I know the basics I was just worried about if I had to pull the center member or not because you have to raise the left and drop the trans side in order to pull it out. Somehow I managed but I don't imagine it will be easy to get it back in |

Yeah sorry trying to do it with one hand and enough torque to turn the strut body and trying to hold the camera is hard. Its probably not a big deal so I'm just going to leave it and just change out my wheel bearing and well if I hear it afterwards then I'll take it apart. |

This is what I mean.. this is from just rotating.. does this on both my fronts... just wondering if its normal? ..since it doesn't do this on my 5th gen I don't think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWU2kJEILxE |

So I was removing my steering knuckle and I had to rotate the strut (still bolted up on top) and it makes this loud rubber? rubbing like noise.. is this normal? seems to be the same on the other side as well. I'm just trying to fix up my 94 GT to be road worthy again. It need a clutch, replacement steering knuckle, and I think the front main seal is leaking pretty bad. |

Passenger side steering knuckle assembly? spins ok? I've got a bad bearing and I'm pretty sure the hub is toast. |

Is there somewhere in a BGB about pulling the 5SFE engine from a 94? I'm looking for a decent how to'ish like the 5th gen BGB. I'm stuck on a few things like how to get to the rear motor mount.. I popped off the two plastic covers on the crossmember? but where do those 3 bolts (2 in one, 1 in the other) goto? |

Timing belt is different than the ST185. I think it was a tooth or two off. |

I blew my 3rd gen 3SGTE the other month and I finally have it out and stripped down to the block (crank and piston still in). Short story, I lost oil from a snapped oil fitting on the head. Anyways. I'm focusing on the block right now then I'll do more. So I was thinking perhaps getting the either... Mahle TOY378405I04 or Wossner K9055D050 Thoughts? ..both are 4032 I think? Also what rods? |

I've got a ST205 motor swap in my ST184 and its been running great except lately its been having an idle issue but it still drives fine?? All things done with NOT. -I've already tried swapping out the IAC valve and no change. also just unplugged it and idle went up a few hundred -Swapped the ignitor and coil assembly and no change This is at NOT and just idling.
