Never dd anything swapped and especially. Boosted. Learned that the hard way when I was 18. I daily a is350 now. I want a 6th gen since it was my first car and favorite car.

If someone wanted to trade there's for my Silvia coupe with a rb25/gt30 I might consider it depending on what there 6th gen looks like and. Condition.

Look I get what your saying. I have a RB swapped Silvia that I did everything myself to, from the engine build to the suspension. I don't want to swap motors, wiring, etc again. I had a TT FD, and a few other toy cars. I just want exactly what the title says and I don't mind waiting. If nothing comes up the nothing comes up. Not a big deal.

It kinda seems like you think I'm a lost new kid on the block.

Ahh ok. Well when I think replica, I think 100% carbon copy. Being you just want a GT with the 3S-GTE and ST205 body parts you shouldn't have that much trouble at all then. I remember seeing one on eBay some time ago, don't think it sold though. Haven't seen it listed again, so who knows. I want to say someone sold their swap on here for around $4,000 or so not too terribly long ago, it still needed some finishing work I think. Being you have a $8,000 budget might look into finding a shop to do the engine swap for you. Finding a GT with a good body and blown engine for around $1,000 shouldn't be too terribly hard. Then you have about $3,000 in a front clip, then whatever the cost of the swap and body work you can't do yourself. Odds are that'd be faster than waiting around for someone to sell one they've swapped.

I could do that, but i dint want to have to find a chassis, have it shipped or trailered to the shop (only shop I know of is ats or Dr tweaks which is 6 hours away) then wait 2-3 months, then have the body work done etc.

I would much rather buy a completed clean swapped GT. A car that someone has finished, and decided to move on from.

I'd hardly consider them a collector's car, unless it's the Carlos Sainz edition. There's also the 4th gen All-Trac, I want to say they had a lever for the transfer case to take it from 4WD to FWD. So that's pretty nifty. In order to legally have a 6th gen GT-Four you'll have to find someone that transplanted everything into a USDM GT, that or wait long enough so that you can import one. That or if you just want the looks, and don't care if it's AWD or not that's easily doable. You could even go as far as to get a GT-Four front clip and transfer everything to a GT, you'd have everything but the AWD.

I know your being helpful lol. I had a GT before I know what's all required to do that swap. I just want to buy a 3rd Gen swapped GT with a st205 front. Maybe with wheels and coils already with the gt4 wing blocks. I want a replica not the real thing.

Buy a 5th gen All-Trac, all the fun without all of the hassle. tongue.gif

I looked at a restored one with 82k original miles. They don't appeal to me. I'd hate to ruin collectors car by daily driving it. Part of the reason why I sold the R1 FD I had with 43k miles.

In the 4 years I've been on this forum, most swaps I've seen have ac and ps.

I have a budget, I don't want a $4,000 project. I want a $8,000+ finished GT4 stateside replica.

how far are you willing to travel, there are several in nashville, memphis. for 500 to 1000.

It depends on how clean the car itself is. If it has a nice interior/nice body I'd drive to TN.

I'm not paying 7K for a car that's 100% stock. I paid $500 more for a 05 Sport Design IS300.

Send me some pics of the ST man. I just want a clean shell.

there is a shell in nasville for 100 bux look craigs, cant post it on phone

Prob same guy that messaged me on here. It's a Coupe, I personally think Coupes are ugly. Looking for a hatch, preferably a GT but of its clean I'll settle for a ST.

Paint doesn't matter I just want a nice clean shell, with interior.

Yeah... When I was 18 I was poor and delusional lol. I rebuilt that 5s, and it spun a bearing so I sold the entire car for $500 bucks.

The 240, long story short: had the S13.5, frame was bent, bought a hatch with a blown motor with full interior, swapped the motor and everything out, then traded the s15 front for a coupe shell, then traded my gauges for a Silvia front, then went and swapped the motor and everything over again. And finally got tired of it and sold it.

Bought and rocked a 05 IS300 for about 6 months, then my buddy found out he was having another kid and offered to trade me his 04 Grand Touring Z for my IS. He Z has 97K my IS had 148K.

Now.... I want a project. Loved the feel of the Celica inside, I have around 8-9K to spend on a project figure I'll buy a GT shell and a GT4 front clip and have myself a fun weekend toy.

Been a LONG LONG LONG time since I've been on this forum. Long story short sold my 6th gen, got a 240 and swapped in a SR, then sold that for a IS300 and then traded that for a 05 Touring Z, and now I want something to work on before I go crazy on the Z.

So with that said, Im looking for a GT shell preferably. In the Southern states willing to drive and trailer back that isnt a issue. Craigslist isnt helping me much, then I remembered this forum and started looking.

If you have any leads on one let me know please! I have money/cash in hand for a good shell.

please drop me a text, and a text only

318 751 two zero nine nine.

thanks for looking/helping guys.
