Custom is about all you can do... Greddy is discontinued. Crush bend should be fine in about 2.5" max, then just pick your muffler!

I'm trying to make it out to the house in the next few days. Things have been hectic and I'm setting up a business trip for the next 2 weeks.

Engine didnt come with exact miles but the company said an estimated 35-45k. I have put about 8k on the car. I did excesive oil changes all with synthetic oil. Most of the seals (not including the head gasket), timing belt and plugs were changed with the swap.

Reg is fully paid, just not completed because of smog so it doesn't have late fees or anything like that, I can go to the DMV at any time and get a month or two temporary operating permit. I think the tags on the car are 2004 or 2005 though.

Left turns usually include a red light :-P

The engine is rated at 221, but I have a more open exhaust but I also have the TMIC under the hood... so probably about the 220hp mark. It is mighty peppy since the Celica is a pretty light car. (about 700lb less then the STI Celica:2640+added 3s weight STI:3351)

The STI vs the 3s is a no contest battle. Dont get me wrong, the 3s is mighty quick (I think it might actually compete with the STI) but power with a FWD platform just plain sucks. I love throwing the STI around a right turn way faster then I should and getting the back to swing just enough before it grabs back on.

I already have a cobb accessport on order (Its a little computer that re-flashes your ECU with better maps) and the tanabe concept G Blue turbo back exhaust. I should be pushing about 350hp and 390lbft torque with just those upgrades.

Have you ever driven a 350z? you feel totally disconnected from the car... it feels like your just floating down the road. And the 0-60 time is almost 1 second slower.

Between the EVO and the STI.... I have a buddy at work who has an EVO 9 so its somewhat easy for me to compare the cars. First of all both companies have ruined the new ones (the 2008/9 models). They have made the cars heavier by adding plush accessories like bigger radios, navigation, etc so it seems they have lost the idea of what they are trying to do.

2007 STI is more polished then an EVO (more put together, more comfy). It is a little slower and tends to understear from the factory. Both are easily remedied. You get the driver controlled diff which you really wont end up using unless you want to screw around and whip the back out. You get the crazy boxer rumble which sounds beefy as hell, especially with exhaust.

2006 EVO 9 has a pretty flimsy boring interior, but it has truer racing seats (They are deeper and hold you in more) made by recaro. Has active yaw control which automatically shifts power to the wheel with the most traction (The STI does this a bit with the diff set to auto but the EVO does it better). The EVO is easier to get into crazy numbers territory (500+hp) but the subie can make it there and beyond also.

Ohh and you will probably die if your t-boned in an EVO as it got a poor rating for side crash tests. Personally I like the look of the STI better, but that is pure opinion. Before I got the car I was swinging back and forth between the two. One more thing, resale of the EVO drops faster then the STI.

I have bought myself a new car and I am parting with the celica.

- 150,000 Miles on the Car itself
- No Accidents
- The exterior of the car is not in mint condition. There are small blemishes on the car, the paint is not a lustrous as it was brand new, and I took of the side skirts a long time ago and the holes where they mount up are still there, the driver's side fender has the paint scratched off the edge. Don't get me wrong here, the car is in pretty good shape for it being 10 years old. I plan to take pics of all blemishes as the car will most likely be sold to someone who can not come look at it easily.
- Interior is in great shape
- Dash inserts are painted white but pieces are easily replaced or put back to black with paint thinner and some elbow grease.

3s-gte and modifications:
- JDM ST-185 3s-gte
- Wiring "re-done" by EL prototypes with all required sensors and things (no shortcuts)
- Brand New Toyota AFM
- HKS Air Cone Filter
- 3" Close to Mandrel bent exhaust from the downpipe back
- HKS Muffler with 3" inlet and obnoxious outlet
- Engine runs good, I think the timing is a little off atm but it is an easy fix.
- I have put about 12k miles on it since I got the engine (I don't use it for commuting much)
- Eibach Sport springs (1.5" drop)
- KYB GR2 Struts (Replaced when springs were put in)


The car has not been fully registered in California for a few years as I never tried to get it smogged. I snaked by with a ton of temporary operating permits.

I am asking $4000 or best offer, please just make some offers if your truley interested. I really do not have a use for the car and it is currently just sitting at my mom's house.

Most of you probably don't know me as I haven't been on 6gc in awhile. Well those that do remember me this is goodbye. The site and community was good to me, mainly helping me through my swap (except the ever evil qatar who screwed me over on my wiring). I have bought my self a brand new 2007 STI, there is no beating the 300HP (soon to be more), 6spd tranny and AWD with the driver controlled center diff.

Only reason you will see me here is to sell my celica, which if I can't sell it whole I will part her out, and I might broswe through every now and then.

so I contacted Toyota World and they said they use to sell them for $80. I would like to sell them for $80 + shipping to recover my cost on these.

They are the standard, fitted for Celicas, Black in color, made by Toyota, stiched with the word Celica in white floor mats.

I never put these on ebay. Current offer is $50. Seeing as they are BRAND NEW and unopened and currently discontinued I am not parting with them for that cheap. They are Celica specific.

I purchased an HKS SSQV awhile back to use if and when I got a FMIC. Engine I got actually had an old style HKS on it. I opened the package to look at the product but it has never been used. I also have the larger universal flange. Asking $160 for the BOV and $20 for the flange or best offer.

That would leave me in the same boat, not being able to smog because of the OBD issue :-P. And who in their right mind would do such a thing? This swap cost more then what I am trying to sell the car for.

BTW, even with the IC cooking under the hood I have kept up with (not beat or anything) EVOs and Subies (rolling starts though, no AWD )
