How do I know? Because its doing roughly 20mpg normal driving and the Co is at 6% for the MOT and the limit is 3%.

You say remove those certain fuses......WHICH ones are they in the fuse box???? (diagram or numbers required as I have no Idea!)

Thanks for the reply.

Hi guys,
Running a 95 import 2litre gen6 ST202 SSII
I have a major overfuelling issue, using way too much petrol, the Co's are way too high and the exhaust pipe is black.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.
Ive read on forums about resetting ECU but how do you do it? They suggest taking out certain fuses but which ones?
Got MOT soon and need to get it sorted.
Wil even try new/2nd hand lambda probe/throttle body/air flow and Co meter if itll help.
Hoping someone might have a quick fix as money is tight.
Thanks in advance
Sam

Hi Everyone....need some help with this one....
My car Failed its MOT today - only on emissions... the CO is way too high... maximum allowable is 3%?? and I got a startling 6%??!!!!....Dammit! lol...
The car does seem quite heavy on fuel anyway and I wonder if anyone knows why this occurs and what the solution is possibly....The guy at the garage suggests Lambda probe....OMG theyre expensive!!!!!!

In fairness to the old girl....she is getting on now...15 years...so its a credit to her really that all she failed on was the fact shes a little thirsty and blows too much carbon out.
Any answers will be greatly appreciated...
Thanks guys n gals

Hi there... Im new to the site and wondered if anyone could recommend an aftermarket exhaust for me... either cat-back or backbox only... I have looked on a few sites and see that Mongoose do a cat back system but its more money than I can realistically afford to pay. I dont want an overly noisey system that the old bill will pay lots of attention to... just somethiing with a nice note.
My car is an SSII 2.0 16v GS-3E and I would appreciate any messages from you guys about whats available out there..
Look forward to reading any suggestions forthcoming

Sam
