What day is this on? I'm too lazy to search....

As long as my car is ready in time (getting the head ported) I have some vacation days on the table. Orlando is a full days drive for me, but no biggy...

Just took the '2' down 151 last night.

Man, what a car... once I get some good tires on it I'm sure it'll handle a bit better than the Celi did. Not surprising since this thing has coilovers on it...

DEFINITELY needs some tires, though... the back end is a bit loose for my taste.

Well, here's an update...

I blew my engine last Friday. Threw a rod. I don't have the money to fix it.

So, Harry at Phoenix Motorsports traded me even for a beater MR2 he had. It needs A LOT of work, but at least it runs.

I WILL be getting another 6gc someday... mark my words... but, until then, I'll be MR'in it for a while. Not that I'm complaining!

Man... I got moist looking at these pics. I've ALWAYS wanted to travel just so I can visit that glorious road.

Hell, I'd love to ship my car over there just to go on this road...

The roads near my house may have more turns, and might be more technically difficult, but it seems the fun roads in Europe are more high-speed oriented. Most of the roads around here, if you go any faster than 50-60 mph, it gets a bit scary. I'd love to fly down a road like that.

Makes me wish I was rich... frown.gif

wow I second the hatred for the spots you can drive tongue.gif lol but love the last shot, pretty sweet!

Hehe, yeah, I love where I live.

There's about 20 or so awesome and twisty roads within 10-25 minutes of my house (and most of them are several miles long). And the Dragon is only about 40 minutes away... I'm yet to take my Celi on the Dragon...

Sucks to be me, I guess! wink.gif

Cool video...did you worry that you might hit your camera for the final shot? smile.gif Blue Ridge Parkway?

My car wasn't lowered at the time and the camera is quite small. Yeah, that was the Blue Ridge Parkway and NC 151 near my home.

Gotta say two things. One I hate you for having such nice places to tear it up at. Two, nice.....loved that final shot.

Haha, thanks!

I take it the transmission is fixed? I'm looking forward to seeing this thing again at the dragon next year smile.gif

Yeah, tranny is fixed.... $1000 later... The old one had a leak and ran bone dry. The tranny overheated and the clutch wouldn't come out of place. Half-way home, the clutch exploded and fried the tranny with it.

At least Harry at Phoenix MS hooked me up.

And, yeah, hopefully nothing will explode next year...

I finished filming before I had a chance to install my new Megan springs and replacement shocks.

So, in this film, mods were:

I/H/E
TRD Rear Strut Bar
16" DR-9 Drag wheels with VERY worn Kumho Ecsta AST
Hopes and Dreams

Enjoy.

The best All-Season i have used is Kumho Ecsta ASX. For an all-season tire, they kick-ass. Just don't expect any great snow traction.

A couple of the best Summers you can get are either Kumho Ecsta XS or Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1. The Ecstas have better dry traction and the Direzzas have better wet traction.

Late to the party... but here's what I'd do if I had 4 grand to upgrade my '95 ST.

Note: I've already got a short-ram intake, header, 2" straight-piped exhaust, front and rear strut bars, weight-reduction (incl. glassmat battery), and 16" wheels with Kumho AST's.

1. Megan lowering springs ($100+ $300 for new shocks and install)
2. Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars ($220)
3. Four 215/50 R16 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec ($500)
4. Piggyback ECU tuning ($250)
5. Engine rebuild + higher compression pistons ($1000-1200)

Then I'd take the rest and and save it for when something else on my car decided to explode...

i can't tell you any better than its already been told. learn how to fish and you won't go hungry.

Like I said in my first post... it's hard to search for these things when the search engine WON'T LET YOU SEARCH THE TERM "O2".

And, yes, I did find out what the error was (21: Oxygen sensor) and it was what I expected. But, I'd still like to know, will this lead to any complications in performance?

On my last car, if there was a sensor problem (or if a lean/rich comdition was detected), the ECU would go into limp mode and my car would become more sluggish and use more fuel. I just want to make sure that the same thing won't happen now. If all is well, then that'll be it and I don't care if I always have a CEL staring me in the face (I have a sticker over it anyways).

If there is already a thread on this, then I'm sorry... but I don't feel like roaming through 24 pages of results because the stupid search engine can't limit its searches to threads with ALL of the words searched for. Until the search function works properly, expect threads like this to keep popping up.

- Tum

EDIT: I finally read the "Advanced Usage" and found out how to search multiple terms at a time (+ or -). I've never seen a forum with this kind of search functionality. But, it DID help a lot and i found what I needed much easier...

You're an ass...

Yeah, I'd like to know some more info as well.

I've found some different stuff online but I'm not sure how to go about installing it.

I apologize if this has been asked before. The search function is practically worthless since I can't search the term "o2" and every search I tried brought about 25 pages of results (none of which helped me).

I installed my aftermarket header about 2 weeks ago. Since there is no place for the 2nd o2 sensor, I simply unplugged it. Just this morning, it threw a CEL code (code 21: oxygen sensor).

I want to know if any performance is going to be lost from not having the 2nd o2 sensor plugged in. From what I understand its job is to simply make sure the cat is functioning.

Also, if it matters, my '95 7afe has an intake and is also straight-piped.
