ok under the dash at the pedal box there is 2 adjustments, one is the adjustment on the pushrod that goes to the master cylinder, the other is the stop adjustment (the stop is also a sensor on some cars) what you do is undo the lock nut on the push rod, then pill the split pin off the pin that goes throuht the pushrod and the cluch pedal, then give it a few turns out, then reinstall the pin and see if thats better, if it is put the split pin back in, do up the lock nut and your done.

Make sure that the pushrod is not tight against the pedal when you reinstall, leave a tiny ammount of free play.

if you need more travel undo the stop and wind that backards (as in so it winds toward the drivers seat) lock it up, then adjust the pushrod again.

damn, this sounds like exactly what i need to do to get my new os geiken twin plate clutch flywheel combo to start engaging off the floor

currently clutch engage point is the floor, i want it higher so ill do as mentioned and move the u piece closer to the seat (thus increasing the stroke of the pushrod)...is this correct? Thanks a million for this guys, feels like im driving a VW

guys,

just got my alarm 99% installed...having some issues finding a trunk pin wire and the correct door pin (i can always run a wire to the source, but ive been trying to tap these wires at the drivers kick panel (outside kick)...

ive attached the door pin (-) to the red white wire on the grey plug (mounted on the firewall) which was behind the kick panel...this doesnt seem to be the trigger on my JDM 95 GT4 ... ive found all the other wires like mirror motor (retractable mirrors) and my rear defrost ground wire...but the trunk pin i have no idea what color and where, and door pin i thought bulldogsecurity gave me the right one but must be diff. for RHD

do you know how to fold in the mirrors ... well electrically that is

like for example if i ground the (making up wires here) purple and green wire for a second they fold in...if i do it again they fold out

i want to hook my folding mirrors up to my alarm aux output (should be easy enough?)

installing a car starter on a stick shift car is just as wise as climbing over a lion fence in the zoo and having seen the lion look well fed draw an assumption that you are safe.

Most likely you WILL endanger other people. Police don't take lightly to that. Your consciousness should be a guide to tell you that you should not even try.

this is a moronic response...does ANYONE who made any accusations about remote start and manual tranny EVER HAD A REMOTE STARTER ON A CAR WITH A MANUAL TRANSMISSION

ITS CALLED RESERVATION MODE for all the morons out there...AUTOMATIC REMOTE STARTERS do not have this safety feature...and idiots like your friends who have almost killed themselves have installed these remote starters on their MANUAL TRANSMISSION vehicles

there are no neutral sesnors or any of that bull SH!T... what you must do before leaving your MANUAL TRANSMISSION car with a remote starter installed that accepts MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS (ensure you have engaged the manual transmission mode, this usually means cutting a jumper wire or flipping a switch)...anyway if i want to remote start, i have to leave my car in RESERVATION mode...to do this you bring your car to a stop on your driveway, you engage the ebrake, you then press on the brake pedal, you then remove keys from ignition and CAR CONTINUES TO RUN!!!! once you exit the vehicle, and the last door is closed, the car shuts off and is in RESERVATION MODE, as soon as you open a door, this procedure must be repeated if you wish to remote start (which makes the process annoying if you forgot your coat inside the car, then you have to set reservation mode again)

THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY WHEN YOU HAVE THE MANUAL REMOTE STARTER INSTALLED TO LEAVE THE CAR IN GEAR.

how do i know this...well what happens if you have your car in gear, and its running and you exit the vehicle...as soon as your foot leaves that clutch its jumping down the road...therefore you would NEVER be able to leave your car in gear AND IN RESERVATION MODE as reservation mode makes you exit your car which is running!!! and if it was manual and in gear you would know about it when leaving your car

your friends who remote started and almost killed themselves or other people, had a automatic transmission style remote starter installed on their car...that is why, because they did not have to enter RESERVATION mode

there is no neutral switch...and no this is not my job, but i install alarms on friends cars etc. if you have basic alarm wiring knowledge, some of you wouldnt have made the statements you did...which is fine, but dont badmouth something you have no funking idea about!!!!

car is really dirty, and i dont have the led's in on these photos, but i now have white led's in them and clear marker lights...looks amazing at night (red led in tail of course smile.gif )

looks awesome

oh and i cut the divider out of the front indicators before i sprayed the inside with chrome...i also sprayed the 3rd brake light interior with chrome, and covered up the vented sections with aluminum foil as led's do not emit heat (dont try that with bulbs)

ill post later with night shots and clean car smile.gif ... thanks again Wolfie, only Canadian GT4 with clear indicators and 3rd brake
