10 beers? Dude I was going to do it sober LoL! But for the people that went to the meet, me being sleep deprived and a lil unstable, I'm capable of almost anything biggrin.gif Great meetin you all and had a good time, next time though I think we need to do it in Davenport. Forget needin money for lodging, we got places ya can crash at smile.gif Oh yeah, also about the cavalier I was going to go back in the restaurant and find out who's it was and make fun of them about it, but I was afraid that town of 1000 people would all pull out shot guns and their raccoon hats and pitch forks trying to take my head as a trophy, since I am a Spicazn (Spanish/Korean), a rare breed that I am LOL!

Yeah I know, as I told him on AIM. That is why I'm going to refund half his money for the tail lights because I made him suffer and wait and wonder whether I was screwin' him over or not. I feel bad and wouldn't like it done to me, so therefore I am going to refund half his money and send the parts out for him this week. I'm sure the majority of the world doesn't give a **** about my personal problems, but there are few that understand and allow that to be their excuse. He was understandable and glad to do business with him. Again, I am making up for my own mistake.

buy another 5s engine and swap it tongue.gif Stop crying LoL! Also a AT to MT swap wouldn't be that hard nor that much money, you never get exactly what you want unless you are not too picky. Usually if you want somefin a certain way, you gotta make it that way, IMO.

Do you have the plastic trim? The one above the gauges, the radio one, the shifter one, the powerlock/window trim and the vents? If so I would like to purchase those off of you

Dude why not just take out your pass air bag and mount it to the top of the lid. Then use like a push button magnet to make it go up and down?

But to add... NO you do not need to change the bell housing with a E153 ... and you may need to use a different speed sensor (i.e. the one that comes with a clip) ... and the axle setup they discussed is different from mine ... I believe those instructions were intended for a 5th gen swap... axles-wise (maybe) ... but overall... it'll still work...

The bellhousing is basically the outer shell:

bellhousing

Not dissagreeing with you but I have a JDM 93 3s-ge trans and to use it on a 3sgte I would have to swap the bell housing off a 5sfe trans...

Reason being is that the starter is located in the wrong position. the start exits out towards the exhaust manifold instead of away from it as the 5sfe, 3sgte and later model 3s-ge transmissions. as it sits right now it would hit the lower half of the turbo.

I can post pics of it to further show this

as for fitting the 3sgte tranny into the US spec 6GC it will fit just fine (somone posted about this on the last page).. the problem with just putting it in there and not hookin up there rear is that the transfer case will just sit and spin while your car goes nowhere

edit: let me explain a little better... the car will move but not very fast and you will lose alot of your power as the transmission will try and send the power from the motor to the point of least resisitance.. the transfercase with nothing hooked up to it.. I tried this just to see what would happen.. I also tried welding in a bar to lock the transfer case and that worked for but only for a short time until that broke, think I got around the block a couple of times before it started to flex to the point where it busted

Hmmm but from looking at my 3sge tranny, it seems that it might fit perfectly on my st185 engine. I have never put it up against it and tried but.....thats what I'm guessing. NEVERSTOP, call me in the morning and get your ass over here for a few minutes and check it out with me. If it won't fit, sh3t, I'll just sell it and get a MR2 w/LSD.

Well depends on your funds. I got a st185 because of lack of money at the time but I could still build it up like a st205

Celica GT4 3sgte would be your best bet for fitment purposes, I hear the MR2 is a pain i the ass to install even in a GT.

As for tranny I got a 3sge tranny or you could grab a mr2 tranny with LSD. I'm not sure on how to make it a FWD tranny but search www.celica.net they have a post of making a mr2 tranny to FWD. Hope this helps you.

hey stipt! that's a cool carbon fiber hood you got  LOL

What I would recomend doing madmods is to get the scoop grafted into the hood.. paint the scoop and area around it and then where the carbon fiber still looks good... have them lightly spray paint over that... if it is done right then you still retain some of the carbon look... I have seen it before and its really cool looking from a distance it will look slightly darker but when you get closer to the car then you will see the CF threw the paint.. it looks badass if done right

You should die! LoL!

Well mine is working fine again so I dunno. I'm gonig to be buying a new alarm with digital auto starter. I would probably suggest just get a new alarm, if you want somefin simple and not too pricey should only cost around $100. I can't see a simple one costing more than that.
