People should be aware that they can get an entire 3" exhaust for About $400US - good fitment, not coated in any way. It's a Motoria product, sold by XS Power. It's not listed on their site at the moment, now that I go back and look, but I'm sure that just because they don't sell many. They can probably still get it. 3-400$ is a lot for just a midpipe. Hell, I'll shortly have the resources to just weld up the exhaust at home, not that I would expect it to look pretty. Not hating on the gb, just being realistic. |

Okay, now I'm starting to get antsy. I want my pretty new downpipe! And the t-shirt too, I guess. It'd better be made of spun gold. The t-shirt, I mean. |

We've finished sheeting the garage and the walls are painted! No hoist yet and the tools aren't in there yet, but I'm willing to get started anyways... Hope my dp ships this week!! |

Like I said, I'm in no rush - it'd just be nice to have some idea of the expected timeline. I'm having to move my car around through all the garage construction we've got going on... It's really making me want to drive it... But all the white stuff and rocks on the ground say otherwise. |

That depends - how long until the shirts come in? Realistically, I'm not in much of a hurry. I kinda want to get the walls finished in the shop first, and it'll still be a while yet before I'm driving the car. I've got plenty of time. Glad to know they haven't gotten lost! |

I recieved the invoice and paid! ... I'm pretty stoked for this. I knew I wasn't going to be able to keep the car stock like I had initially planned. Whoopsies. |

Okay, I'm back in the country, and now capable of meaningful communication! After looking at the details of shipping en masse for the Calgary crowd, I don't think it's actually worth it. We save about $10 on shipping, and everyone has to pay me, instead of Berk. I figure that the extra pain in the rear of getting money to me before the order goes through doesn't make up for the ten bucks saved. This way they're all delivered right to your door! |

I promise that I know Sean and will not screw you! Sean, you can beat me up if something goes badly. I'll have his order as well, and he knows where I live. |

Hey all you Calgarians! As mentioned before, I am volunteering to take on the responsability of getting all the downpipes shipped to my bf's workplace. Apparently this means we have to combine into one order. For those interested, please send me a pm. We'll determine the cost savings before any money is exchanged, so there's no commitment unless it's worth it. I am currently in Hawaii, to be back on the 13th... So i can respond, but don't expect it to be instant! |

Brilliant. That was a confusing bit there! Standard pipe has stock location o2 sensor. Check. I change my order to a 3rd gen standard pipe with the black ceramic coating (instant gratification on the coating, I know.) I've checked up on a group shipping location for the Calgary orders - it looks like the best place would be my bf's work. We might save a bundle shipping to a business (as compared to a residence), depending on the size of the package... but even so, it'll be way cheaper just shipping to one location anyways. Let me know who's interested, and we'll hash out the details! 1. nammer, 3rd gen, fully loaded 2. kaos, 3rd gen, Fully loaded. 3. teamfaint, 3rd gen, standard plus wideband o2. 4. bsamps4, 3rd gen, fully loaded 5. ST205WRC, 3rd gen fully loaded 6. Luka, 3rd gen fully loaded 7. chacha 3rd gen fully loaded 8. 99celigt, 3rd gen, fully loaded 9. Yellowchinaman 3rd Standard plus Black ceramic coating 10. gt4st205, 3rd gen fully loaded 11. anothergt4, 2nd gen, fully loaded 12. gt4celica90, 3rd gen, fully loaded 13. Tara, 3rd gen standard plus black ceramic coating 14. Domspun, 3rd gen, fully loaded 15. Athmene, 3rd gen, fully loaded 16. celica95-95, 3rd gen, fully loaded 17. Quidam, 3rd gen, fully loaded 18. schmooot, 3rd gen, fully loaded |

Shipping to one location makes sense; I'm down for that. I'd even offer to ship to my place, or we can even potentially arrange to ship to RCTS in the south end of town - my bf used to work there, and is good buddies with Reg Reimer. I'd have to check on that though. And yes, I didn't realized that the standard model doesn't have a place for the stock o2 sensor - will the port for the wideband fit the stock sensor? Does it match up with the hole in the heatshield? If yes, then I need to switch to the fully loaded model. Apologies for what is essentially a repeat of a previous question! The GT4 is supposed to be my slow stock summer car... it doesn't look like it's staying that way, but I've no plans to go standalone anytime soon! |

Will the stock 205 heat shields still bolt in with this downpipe installed? How does it integrate with the stock exhaust system? Before the cat? Unless there's a big issue with fitment, I'm in for the 3rd gen standard version - I'll get it ceramic coated with a bunch of other stuff at the same time, all shiny-like. So, pending any issues: 1. nammer, 3rd gen, fully loaded 2. kaos, 3rd gen, Fully loaded. Black ceramic coated & wideband bung 3. teamfaint, 3rd gen, standard version. 4. bsamps4, 3rd gen, fully loaded 5. ST205WRC, 3rd gen fully loaded 6. Luka, 3rd gen fully loaded 7. chacha 3rd gen fully loaded 8. 99celigt, 3rd gen, fully loaded 9. Yellowchinaman 3rd Standard plus Black ceramic coating (postage to UK) 10. gt4st205, 3rd gen fully loaded (shipping to apo?) 11. anothergt4, 2nd gen, fully loaded 12. gt4celica90, 3rd gen, fully loaded 13. Tara, 3rd gen, standard |

My GT-Four and my b/f's 7MGTE mkii Supra. It'll be nice to have my own car there this time around! |

I've had my GT-Four for a while now... and haven't noticed a change from when I was driving a rusty '85 Celica GT. And I drive like a bit of an asshole most of the time. ... So I doubt it's the car. |

I find that fuel mileage in any car (especially my ST205) is directly related to the position of the driver's right foot. I get somewhere between reasonable mileage and terrible mileage, depending on the weather. If it's nice out, the fuel seems to just disappear from my tank... Performing certain maintenance on your car will help it run better, and therefore get better mileage. Same goes for checking your tire pressure and condition regularly - those four little strips of rubber are the only thing connecting your car with the road. |

I think the double takes I get are largely related to the fact that I'm female and driving a RHD car. I guess people don't expect it. |

You know, Celicas are cheap cars. But it's cool having one and having a hot lady ride shotty, because the other guys get jealous. It's even cooler being female and driving your own sweet GT-Four, making the "other guys" jealous. I haven't gotten many comments yet, but I sure do get a lot of odd looks - including a few hilarious double takes. |

Yeah... really nice kid, unfortunate taste in deoderant. I got a wicked deal on the car. A word of advice for you guys regarding Axe: just don't. It's okay in tiny doses, preferably in stick form... but those commercials are not an accurate representation of reality. A great deal of automotive deoderizer, half a bottle of heavy duty Febreeze, and some of that Febreeze "Fresh spring" scented deoderizer has mostly neutralized the stench - however, it lingers yet. That stuff is tough to get rid of! |

Your boyfriend is just envious. His car is old and ugly, lol. Only good looking Supras are MKIII and MKIV. I love your car. It's amazing that it's bone stock. Nice catch. Except that mkiiis are ugly piggies... the mkii might be a doorstop, but it's a nice looking doorstop. And it's light. Tara - did you buy that off a guy here in town, or did you "over night it from Japan"? I bought it off the guy who had it imported by Sean at Zen Autoworks. The kid used Axe body spray or some ****. Lots of it. |

Nope, this one was imported a year ago from Japan. ... that is not an '85 GT. That is a mkii Supra. Which has been fully restored with a 7mgte swapped in. The car has ALL the goodies... R154 transmission, trutrac rear end, big sticky tires... really big turbo... My mkii is going to be different, but still awesome. |

Wow, thanks! However, I'm surprised that no one has asked what would make an old mkii Supra so much faster than an already quick GT-Four. lol I wasn't partial to the colour when I first saw it - these cars look great in red or black - but it's certainly growing on me. It'll stay that way when I re-paint it in a few years. And yes. Stock. I'm lucky to have found an unmolested car! |
