i was wondering what people used for gas in their cars octane wise for a 5sfe, ive heard that it really doesnt matter especially with a stock 5s and i noticed a few posts of people saying they use 91 but i assume those were on swaps and cant seem to get to the bottom of this..

what the hell does it matter? lol and what SHOULD i use?

thanks for any input to put my mind to rest =D

Well i have one last question and i cant seem to find any threads on it already, my rotors and pads will be here the beginning of next week, and i got a caliper I am picking up tomorrow morning to replace my frozen one.... but i still need to fix my parking brake and im wondering how to do so considering ill already have everything off and ready to be worked on...

when i pull my parking brake lever its 100% slack until it gets to the usually engaged area and then the cable is rock solid but the parking brake doesnt engage, ive tried adjusting the cable at the lever but im not sure what else to do, this will all be my first brake job, any advice or help would be amazing, thanks alot guys.

how can i tell if the rest of my calipers are fine, i got new pads and rotors but i obviously dont wanna changed them if the calipers are frozen/shot or what ever, i ASSUME, the rear passenger side is frozen because i hear some grinding ish sound when driving and theres like 10x more brake dust on that wheel/rim w/e than any of the others...

im just looking for the best way to get my brakes in 100% working order.

any Checker's (soon to be O'Reilly's) Schucks Kragen store

92 - 96 Camry or 92 - 93 ES300 should have the same caliper as us

Part No.
191570 , 191571 Unloaded Front $42 with $40 core
Part No.
191776, 191777 Unloaded Rear $77 with $35 core

I work at one so I have employee discount biggrin.gif

alright, this is a total noob question butttt, what is a caliper core? lol im pretty brake illiterate and cant seem to find anything to tell me what exactly it is haha

tackle basic maintainance on your car. read. do all your own repairs. read more. save for swap. read more. buy a beater and fix it. read MORE. buy an st205 clip. read read read. perform swap

out of curiousity. why buy the beater and fix it... wouldnt that be money out of pocket for st205 clip?
