It's the 1.8, and yes, you can beef it up. A lot of people have turboed them, I know of the top of my head you can find it in the stickies; OOBE has a 7afte. As far as reliability, if that's your main concern, just go with small bolt ons, intake, exhaust, etc. With those mods you can keep your fuel economy and it'll sound better and be a tiny bit faster. x2 there's really not a whole lot of potential for a 7AFE. But if you want a reliable, semi-loud, and fun car, that's your motor. If you want power, you'll have to do some swaps bro. Even the turbo'd 7A doesn't make a whole lot of power. thanks guys... i was thinking of the gt 4 swap but i have emissions so kind of scard.... |

I dont want to have to keep wrenching after its dun. I would like reliability as for its shes daily driver. What should i do? Thanks Will |

I live in Tucson, AZ...and I'm kind of new to the forum. I'd like to have a get together with the 6 Gens here in AZ. Some of the things I thought of were, we have some roads here that we could cruise on, we have Mt. Lemon, which is a fun drive with alot of scenic stops along the way where we could chill bbq, or take some great pictures. Its about a 45 min drive to the top. Also something I though of was taking a drive to Tombstone, the road is pretty straight, unlike Mt. Lemon, but there's some restaraunts to eat at along with the notorious haunted theater. Its aboult a hour and 20 min drive. These are just a few ideas to throw out there. But I want to hear from you. Is anyone interested in doing something in AZ? It doesn't even have to be here, it can be in Pheonix, but I don't know Pheonix so someone up there would have to take it over. I just want to hangout with the 6 Gens kick back and get to know you all. So let me know if this is something that would interest you. So let's do this!!!! Thank You! Will. |

FS: NOT MINE >>> my dad has at his yard a 98 GT 2.2 automatic hatchback...that he is parting out. It's been hit real bad in the front. so right off the bat the hood, fenders, headlights, core support, bumper, and radiator are no good. it does have a sun roof. car is black with black and grey interior. power everything. i dont want to sell very much off the motor or trans because they are both good. i will however sell them intact seperate or as a pair. door panels are in pretty poor condition as well, but all electronics, and switches are good from my understanding. so if you give the yard a call and tell them what u need and want, thay can hook u up. thay can even ship it to u. thanks you all. mon-fri 830 - 500 sat 900 - 200 mountain time Yards # 520-292-9114. ask for Jim and say Will sent u Thank again Will ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
