I haven't had a celica in a long time ( >5 years) and I'm getting ready to move so all this stuff has to go. I'm willing to let someone have it, BUT only if they come and get it. So here goes: 1 complete set of headlights that I bought from someone here on the forums from Canada. One of the high beams has a broken tab 2 high beam headlights in perfect shape 1 drivers side door with mirror excellent shape. 1 3 post spoiler silver 2 side skirts silver 1 fifth gen passenger fender 1 fifth gen drivers ( I think ) side taillight. If this doesn't get picked up in the next few weeks ( contingent of the sale of my house ) I'm gonna dump it. Also if you want any of it, you have to take ALL of it. Again, I don't have the time or the inclination to ship anything. All items are for sale locally. FCFS Located in Cookeville TN, 38501 Cheers! |

i think you are reading into things. you need to measure the bore first, then get the right sized piston. the engine is here in CA, I want 800 for it since its a full rebuild with OS pistons and about 5000 miles on it. The shipping to TN will be the killer. Sine i dont want to do it, it will cost $$$$$$$$$$ Thanks for the reply, I'd forgot about your location! thanks again, |

when you go OS, the bore is machined to match the piston. OEM has various sizes because of mass production. I highly suggest getting the oversized pistons and have the block machined. the 7A responds very well to this upgrade. In fact the engine in the build thread is for sale now. Thanks for your replay. I understand what you're saying, let me rephrase my question. With an aftermarket std piston how would you know which oem bore size(1,2 or 3) it would fit? There's .004" difference between sizes according to the bgb. On the engine for sale, where and how much? Thanks, |

I'm just starting to tear down a spare 7afe for my celica. I don't know if I will need pistons or other machine work yet as the engine has >250K on it. I read Smaay's excellent rebuild thread but I still have a question. With aftermarket pistons I see either STD or oversize. I don't see them broken down into 3 std sizes like oe pistons. Why is that? Is it a "close enough" kind of thing? If I need a piston I'll most likely get an oe toyota one but I was curious on this. |

You've got a good looking car. I've got a 96 st myself but its a base model. Your comment about it being uncomfortable made me laugh. A co-worker of mine complains about mine every time he gets in it. I would love to find a reasonably priced gt but have not been able to do so. I can't get rid of mine because it just too darn dependable. Thanks for the tip about the golf/s2000 antenna. I need to replace mine as well. |

I'm 46. My intro to the celica world was the 91 st that we bought for my daughter. Then on to a 96 st. Its my dd with 223k on it. Tough little cars No doubt about it. I would like to find a similar condition GT but they are not easy to find here in Tennessee. Almost every one you find for sale in good shape is a convertible. |

Sorry to hear about your windshield. Your best bet is probably going to be a local auto glass shop. I just had a new windshield installed in a 95 prizm for just over $200.00. Your time, parts and labor are going to approach that. Just as a hint, don't call one of the online middlemen call the local shop. |

183,000 miles. 7afe uses oil. Been that way since I bought it with 128k on it. The 90's are/were the BEST years for toyota! |

I wonder what trouble if any there would be for a U.S buyer with this car. Since it was formerly a U.S. car? |

Could you tell me the bolt spacing for the mounting bracket? i.e. the center to center distance? I have a 96 ST and was wondering it these would fit. Already tried some that didn't work. Thanks, Don |
