well...i work at an auto place n do brakes n all that good stuff for a living....sometimes if people just slap on rotors n pads on a car it could end up squeaking. usually what u need to do with new rotors is what they call cutting them. What they usually do is put it on a brake lathe so it could even out the rotor to take out the lateral runout from it, meaning it's side to side motion. Mechanics do that to insure that there isnt any, assuming that rotors have been sittin on shelves with other rotors on top of them so it's like an insurance thing to make sure there isnt any runout on the rotor cause of that. Also like what other people have said is to clean out ur pads n rotors cause dust could cause the squeaking too. Also Moly lube the back of the pads as well. you could get Moly Lube at any auto parts store. |

hey guys i wa sjust on celica.net and they had a thread on Tom's X'Dynamic springs for $68. Are those springs any good. I kinda wanna know especially from people who have them or knows of a person who has them. I mean there only $68 which kinda makes me skeptical bout them. Should i go for those or just go for the TEINs? |

Yeah you could tell if it's veilside cus the veilside bumper comes with this lil bump right where the top part of the mouth where u place the grill at. That bump is where u put ur license plate or somethin. And also the VS stamp as well. |

Yeah but they're ran by a bunch of idiots that dunno **** bout cars now. So now i don't even consider them a shop anymore cus it's just a place where people hang out and people within that group buy stuff from them. but they move to Walnut like round fairway n valley somewhere. You'd probably know where that is if ur from that 626 area. |

It was BMW that started out making airplane engines then got into cars thats why when u see there embelm it looks like a propeller. BTW, RWD cars were first. They made fwd cars due to economic purposes cus it saved on cost of materials. |

Yeah...If R2 Auto was still around I woulda went there to get my kit done n molded for like 1000 but then the guy woulda sent me to PJ Bonafacio to do the paint job and I knwo for a fact PJ would charge me up the ass for a paint job. Yeah well too bad the owners split n sold their whole business n now one of them is busy makin bodykit prototypes. He made that dope ass 7th gen widebody celica. He's too kool for me now =( |

Naw i stuck with the veilside style one and I'm currently geting it repaired and repainted ryte now at a shop. Well i don't know if you have to make any cutting on the fender to fit the blitz style one but it looks like you do. But if you could fit it over the fender then that's kool. Umm as for molding it on...I wouldn't mold it. If it looks good just bolting it on then go ahead n do that instead of molding it on. . But dayum 3 grand for it??? Also, just remember that once u mold it on it'll be on there for good so watch where you drive n don't crack it. |

It's just those idiotic people that watch fast n the furious too much and buy a honda and say that they race when all it have is an intake that give all other import owners a bad name. People like those that just give us a bad name so people that are into them muscle cars n stuff just generalize us into that same category but they don't know us well enough to know that we're not as stupid as that. Plus, they give us that excues about how we waste so much money to make it as fast as their car. On the other hand, all we do is see them waste money on their old ass "american muscle" just to try to maintain them . I aint hatin on any american cars cus some of them got some major balls but if they gunna lay it on us I might as well turn it around back on them cus it aint liek they're cars are the shiz anyways. All i gotta say is that they should get a clue before they say **** cus for all they know they're will be a "ricer" around that'll set them in their place. |

All I gotta say is that when you mold ur bumper when that stuff cracks then ur screwed cus ur going to spend a butt load of money to get it fixed agen. So if you are willing to do that then be my guest. Just watch out for bumps or debris on the road that'll mess it up. i was thinkin bout gettin the blitz style bumper to and molding it but the negatives outweighed the positives for me. |

Then might as well save for struts and coilovers all together. It's easier that way so u wont have to waste time taking off the coilovers from the old struts and putting it on tot he new ones. that's just more hassle that you could be avoiding. IMO I'd rather get a full coilover system like TEINs or JIC-Magic rather than those sleeve ones like Ground Control or Dropzones. But it's all up to you. |

Ok quick question...Is there any kind of modifications to the bulbs and sockets if you get the low beam projectors/ JDM high beams, like new wiring and stuff? Does it just bolt on? |
