Hi from the UK!! biggrin.gif

The UK celica-club are thinking about organising a GB for leather seat covers and we've been looking at a few US suppliers.

Has anyone on your side of the pond had this done and if so who did you use??

We've found these guys www.leatherseats.com - anyone had any experience of them?

Cheers,

Matt.

I used www.takakaira.co.jp to get mine.

It's not in their catalogue but they can source anything.

I've got the older style brace - here...

Need to get hold of one of these for fitting my TWM shifter to my UK spec car (they fit different shift blocks over here...).

Basically, I need the little plastic 'cups' that go over the 'balls' on the shift arm on the picture below (though happy to take the whole shifter if easier):

Thinking of anyone breaking a Gen6 or has installed the TRD shifter and has one lying about!

Cash waiting!

Just a short note...

Had a Trojan warning pop up on my PC when i accessed the site with the yellow celica on it.

Just be sure you're wearing protection before you go surfing... smile.gif

TRD do the engine mounts http://toyota-trd.jp/en/strt/rubber.html but check with them first that it's actually for your engine.

Eclipse,

I've got the chassis number written down so you you can edit the post and remove it (just in case any nasty car cloning scum are searching for a legit VIN to use...) - INSERT DISCLAIMER: NOT REFERING TO ME BY THE WAY...-

Thanks Coomer!

I think that AT200 and ST204 are the model numbers, the chassis number is the long number printed on the bulkhead in the engine bay and the car ID plate in the engine bay - in the UK it's called a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

I'm assuming all the AT200 and ST204 would have come with the same shift block so I'll see what Toyota can do for me!

Matt.

Toyota UK have said they may be able to help as long as I can get hold of the US Celica model number and a chassis number of a US car.

If anyone is willing to let me have their chassis number then it will be greatly appreciated! I've got a spare C-ONE sticker at home that could be sent as a reward!

If you're up for helping out (and fancy that sticker!), please mail me on mattwjenkins@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Cheers Dam,

Gonna see what the UK dealer comes up with but might take you up on the offer!

Yup, that's the problem!

Hmmm,

Dremel might work - the cups have little ball bearings that grip the metal balls so dremeling that effect may be a bit tricky.

I'm trying to source some parts through a helpful UK Toyota dealer - I'll post when something happens.

Any TRD shifter owners out there who want to make some quick cash from parts on their garage shelf?

Hi All,

Hoping someone can give me some help installing a TWM short-shifter.

I'm from the UK and the UK Gen6's stock shifter is slightly different from the US model.

Basically (this should hopefully make sense!) the small plastic cups that attach to the bottom and side of the shift arm are slightly smaller in the US than in the UK - basically, because the TWM shifter is designed for the US market I can't fit it without some US spec plastic cups! confused.gif

TWM have tried Toyota but with no luck so I decided to try you guys!

Hopefully someone who has installed a TRD shifter will have the old one in the garage and wouldn't mind selling me some spares! biggrin.gif

Thanx!

Hi Guys!

I'm looking for a turbo kit for a 94 Gen6 GT with an S3GE lump in it. I've seen that a Japanese company called Top Fuel does a kit.

I'm after a bit more info and wondered whether any of you guys have installed it or know where I can find out more about it! My Japanese isn't too good frown.gif so any US websites or companies I could email would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Matt
