I agree with Coomer, I used regular blue 194 bulbs that I got from a local R&S Strauss Auto. They were $5 a pop and work great. biggrin.gif

Any word yet? I jujst finished replacing my stock bulbs with Blue ones I bought at R&S Strauss. At first, my ignition wouldn't start! Turns out, I had turned my steering wheel way left into some kind of lock position, and I had to force it to the right to unlock the ignition. Hope they loook good or I'll have to do it all over again...

BTW, you don't need to remove the piece on top of the steering wheel column to get the gauge cluster in and out. Just lay the cluster flat, plastic piece facing upward, and insert it, then turn it upright when it's in. wiggle.gif

Thanks for the replies guys, keep em coming! BTW Craig, I sent Ray an email a week ago, and he never responded. If you know him personally, tell him he has a customer waiting! Anyway, I agree that the ViS skirts lok better. However, I was told that Erebuni fits better than the ViS, so which really fits better? Help! rolleyes.gif

I have seen guys who sand down everything before painting. Mine came out great when I cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and applied primer coats. (I painted the inserts and other parts of the dash without sanding)

The remainder of my dash is leather, so I am not going to mess with it. You can, however, purchase paint specially for leather at your local auto store.

Anyone know what those circular clasps are on the inside of the door? (They hold the panel that covers the window controls) Any help would be appreciated. biggrin.gif

Pics will be up once it stops raining here. One thing to consider, putting the A/C back in is a bitch. You might need someone to hold it while you try to get it back together... redface.gif

OK, for those who are goin all out like I am, I decided to paint the whole center console, the entire gauge area, and the glove box. These pieces are a bit more tricky to remove, and you will need a wrench or socket wrench with 1/2" bit, as well as Phillips screwdriver.

Under the center piece where the clutch is you will find 4 screws, 2 up top and 2 down low. You will find 2 nuts inside the center console that must be removed also. There are 2 small bolts way down by the inside of the seats. There is a screw under the glove box, as well as a screw under the ignition. The fun part begins now, as you will have to remove the wires that attach the A/C unit, or you will not be able to remove the piece. Removing the 3 wires and disconnecting the A/C entirely will enable you to remove the entire center piece where the emergency brake is located.

To remove the glove box, open it and remove the 3 screws up top. Lastly there is 1 screw down to the right, but, to find this you must remove or lift up the long plastic piece running along side the door.

To remove the gauge pieces, there are a number of screws that are clearly visible. Again, there is one screw to the bottom left that is hidden under the plastic piece running along the door.

Any questions?

Yeah, it's a sad story...

I had a 94 TT RX7 5spd, Montego Blu, I put 10k in DVD/Audio/Neon into it. I was getting ready to add the body kit I bought, and then I had a fuel line crack. The gas leaked and caught fire and my car exploded while I was driving it. There was a cop right behind me, who called the FD quick, so they were there in about 5-10minutes. However the front end was completely toasted and unsalvageable. I had just dropped my insurance b/c I wanted to switch companies, and I never got around to doin it. Cost for rebuild was approx 8-12k.

I decided to sell it, and get myself a car which I could buy and not worry about car payments. Hence, my 96 Celica Hatch. I'm goin to save for another RX7 of course! So I just want some exterior style in my Celica, I'll save the engine mods for my next Rixxer...

Oh no, I started a fire. Obviously you give a **** cause you continue to post replies and piss n moan. Do you always act childish when someone doesn't like the way something looks on your car? I understand you want to be unique, and that's great. So does everyone here I presume. I just tossed my opinion like everyone else does, so take it for what it's worth...nothing! It's an opinion! Not everyone is goin to sweat your curren's! I do like your bodykit, however, it looks good. And, the "BTW" comment you made, that's good ****! I was laughing my ass off when I read that one! Tooshay! biggrin.gif redface.gif tongue.gif
