Alright, I'm looking to return to my roots. I have progreesed through cars from multiple 5th gens, to a 6th gen, to an all-trac, to a SR 240. I love this 240. It is probaly my favorite car I have owned overall. Definetly the fastest. Problem is I have gotten myself into debt and am looking to trade it for a cheaper yet reliable car + cash. I was hoping to get any reliable care plus around 3-4k cash. I realize trading for a 6th gen may possibly yeild a smaller amount of cash though. Here is my write up for the sale and reason for sale: I have for sale a white 1989 Hatch with Redtop swap. I'm interested mainly in trades plus cash. I will also consider selling or possibly a full trade. The reason for this is that I have aquired some debts and the sensible part of my brain is telling me to sell this and get the majority if not all of that paid off and start all over again. My main preferance for trade plus cash is a s14 but I am open to any and ALL options. I don't realy want to trade straight up for any cars b/c as mentioned my main motivatoin for doing this is to pay off some debts, feel free to offer though as nothing can hurt too offer. The car. 1989 White Hatchback Fresh White Paint(2 months old) ENGINE: Redtop Swapped in less than a year ago(apxrox 50-60k miles) SS Autochrome Exhuast Manifold Stock Turbo(no shaft play) Aftermarket 02 Housing 3" Downpipe Full 3" Megan exhuast Z32 MAF Intake FMIC HKS SSQV Blow off valve Walbro Fuel Pump ELECTRONICS and INTERIOR: SAFC II Blitz Fat Boy Turbo Timer Higher End JVC head unit S14 Seats S14 Seatbelts Dual Guage Pillar pod with Boost, and Oil Pressure Gauge Sparco Shift Knob Wired for Amp SUSPENSION: Aftermarket 15" 5 Star Wheels New OEM Struts(8 months old) SPL Tension Rods Front and Rear Strut Bars 2 Brand new SumoTumo Tires(less than 2 months old) Other tires have aproximately 70% tread left. Car is in excelent condition overall. No problem with the engine whatsoever, cranks first time everytime and idles perfect. Turbo pulls strong. Car has never seen a boost controller or more than 9 pounds of boost(via a pill in the line). Paint is in excelent condition as it is only 2 months old. No rust ANYWHERE on underside of car or body. Small exception is small rust spot inside hatch underneath spoiler(common). This is my favorite car I have ever owned and hate to see it go, but my responsible side is saying pay off this debt so I can quit fighting interest rates and start all over again only to finish off better. contact me at mcgryzen@hotmail.com or via AIM with the screen name Cormudgen If I sell the car outright i'm Looking to get $6650 OBO. I'm not in any huge rush but will entertain any and all offers even if it is to say a simple "NO". Car is located in GA Pictures: Mark |

Radar Detector Escort Passport 7500S Radar Detector + Laser Detector Bought this from a buddy who got it less than 2 months ago. He decided not to keep it because the wire hung in his way and he was too lazy to hard wire it. He paid like $245 for it. Sold it to me for $185. I've had it for around a month but just need the cash for other things, mainly steering rack bushins on my 240. I was prety surprised at how well it works, seems like you have about a mile after it starts beeping before you see the cop. It has front and rear detection. Retails for $229 now as can be seen here before shipping. http://www.escortradar.com/7500.htm Some specs: 360-degree radar and laser detection EZ-Programming lets you instantly set 10 features AutoSensitivity mode, plus Highway and City settings ExpertMeter tracks and displays up to 8 radar signals Ultra-bright matrix display with 280 LEDs VG-2 rejection system Optional SmartCord compatible *Please understand that this is the newer version of the 7500, completley revamped the 7500S. I'm looking to get $150 shipped OBO. I accept paypal or any other form of payment. |

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WDVW Rear hatch carpet for a 6th gen hatch. I had a false floor box so I removed it from my car. As many of you know my car has since been sold. In fact I'm not even driving the all-trac anymore. Currently have a SR swapped 240. Regardless, be sure to check my other auctions for celica parts as well as stereo equimpent. |

I have for sale a Alpine CDM-7854 head unit. It was in my car when I bought it. Overall its a pretty solid head unit. I've grown accostemed to Pioneers layout though as my last couple of head units have been Pioneer. I just picked up a Pioneer for a good deal so this thing is on its way out now. Only two brands of head units I would purchase right now are Alpine and Pioneer. Just so happen to be more comfortable with Pioneers layout as of right now. There is no doubt that Alpine is one of the best manufacture of car audio products! It is a couple of years old but still a solid unit all around. I'm asking $85 or best offer. Here is a picture I had sitting around |

I dont think I need to say anything else. I think you have proved any point for me that needed to be made. As I said I wasnt tyrin to bash you. I even verifed(helping you sell the car actualy) that up until 3 months ago there was no doubt in my mind that the car was in excelent condition and that I and the first owner kept it EXTREMELY well maintained. It seems you have cleared up the issue of non selling on ebay and I guess concerning why you want it repainted. I still can't justify painting the whole car when only the front bumper needs it but thats fine. All I said was for buyers to do a lot of research. As for sending you my address I have multiple times. I'm still waiting on both the wheel spacers AND the interior parts and the turn signals promised. No, all info wasnt disclosed about the alltrac before I drove 10 hours. I'm still overall happy with the trade. And I'm glad you were able to get it for $1800! Seems about what it was worth. Anways, situation is of no concern to me rather than verifying the good condition of the car up until 3 months ago and alerting buyers to find out EVERYTHING from you up front. Good luck with the sale and congratulations to whover gets this awesome car, if it is still in as good of shape as it was when I got it. I still miss her for what she is, a beautiful, reliable, clean, good gas mileage, good handling car. Mark |

Yup That is my old car. Sad to see her for sale again. The car had NO problems when it left my hand besides a badly chipped front bumper with touchup paint and 2 scratches about an inch long on the passenger side door. This guy acquired the car by trading me for his 1990 all-trac. Overall my experience with this seller has been only mediocre. There were things that I wasn't alerted of when getting the all-trac. Things you would want to know before you drive 10 hours. Also, things that were promised that were supposed to be mailed to me after the sale still arent here 3 months later. Concerning the "all highway miles" in his autotrader ad. I can confrim that this is NOT true. I know for a fact when I had it that there is no doubt that it wasn't. The guy that owned it before me was a rich doctor who played with it as well as letting his son drive it for everyday use. Granted I feel like they maintained it maticulously it wasn't high way miles. The last thing that concerns me about the purchase of the car is that when he had it listed on ebay just a little while ago he put that upon recieing the deposit he intended to put a fresh coat of paint on it. I wonder if maybe it was wrecked. No where was the paint bad except the front bumper and those 2 scratches. Also it sold for ebay at around $4200 so I'm not sure why he still has it Overall my experience with this seller is OK. Thats it OK. This car could still be a very good deal for someone. Its hard to completly trash a car in the 3 months he owned it so I"m not suggesting the new owner did. I"m just suggesting that the new buyer should do an EXTREME check of everything and make sure he gets every bit of info he wants to know and all included parts UP FRONT. I apologize for publicly criticizing a seller but many of my old 6gc.net buddies have alerted me of both the old ebay auction and now the posting here. Just want to give everone the heads up. *Another thing. I have already said sometinng to him about using MY pictures. Yet he is still using them, this time on a NEW ad. Danny (the seller) feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding what I posted or any other potential buyers. Easiest way is AIM at Cormudgen or PM. Mark |

Sony SA-VA1 Ok I'm selling a set of Sony SA-VA1 Active speakers. Active speakers means that they have a built in internal amp so you can directly plug in whatever you want to them. When I was using them I had my TV as well as a standalone CD unit hooked up to them. These speakers are a couple of years old as they came out in 2003. In fact they recieved many Editors Choice awards in 2003. These speakers are Dolby Pro Logic and sound great. I can gurantee that none of the speakers are blown. These speakers sound incredibly awesome. The only reason I bought them is becuase at the time my RCA reciever was off getting some work done to it due to a bad power supply. These speakers still sell new from around $499-$557. Here are two links to retailers selling them new. http://store.yahoo.com/hypeaudio/sava1.html http://store.yahoo.com/lgdsuperstore/sava1.html I"m asking $250 or best offer. *Honestly I can't decide if I want to hold on to these or my RCA reciever and 5.1 speakers. If you are interested in that rather than this let me know and i'll post more info about them. Mark |

I have a BRAND NEW still in box Eclipse CD3434 CD/MP3 player. I bought with full intentions to install in my car. The alpine I have now is really all I need though. I can't justify taking the Alpine out just to have a different one. I need the money right now anyways. Here are the specs: Full optical disc format compatibility — CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3. 50W x 4 channels of power amplification with MOSFET Advanced FM and AM digital tuner section Source volume control (SVC) for uniform system volume setting from any program source LCD display readout with large alphanumeric characters with adjustable contrast control NOB smart rotary encoder control Front/Rear/Non-fader preamplifier RCA output terminal pairs Remote control (1602) provided as standard equipment CD Changer control capability Flexible bass and treble controls Speaker crossover frequency setting Non-fader level phase control Guide tones to confirm operation Motorized tilting faceplate Digital Servo System (DSS) Here is a link to Eclipses website. http://www.eclipse-web.com/index_cd.html This is a 2004 model. Not an old one I'm asking $225. I think retail is $349. Mark |

insurance isn't ridiculous if you only dont get comprehensive. it would be the same as what you pay right now if you only get liability. and honestly its kind of stpuid to have full coverage on a car that is only "valued" at around 3k. unfortunatly insurance companies only look at kbb and nada compared to actual resale value |

Ok, I may be selling my all trac. I just bought this around month ago but am not sure if it is right for me at the moment. I'm attending college and have many expenses. That and I need a truck for the job I'm working right now. I just traded for this car around a month ago for a 96 Celica I had. That celica had sold for $6500 aproximatley 2 weeks before I traded. When I got this car it had a blown turbo. Here is the story. 125,xxx miles on engine. Compression was 185 on 3 cylindars and 175 on cylindar 2. Currently has blown turbo seals. I just ordered a JDM CT26 with cermic blades and aproximately 20,xxx miles on it. It will be here Tuesday at wich point I hope to install it. The car recently had a brand new clutch put in. Less than 700 miles on the clutch. It was an aftermarket stage 1 clutch. Unsure of the brand. Also the hoes from Hell were just replaced. Car has Kuhmo Extasy tires with around 1000 miles on them that were recenlty replaced. I also just installed a Apexi turbo timer. Modifications: 3" Turbo Back Exhaust Greddy Profec B Boost controller Turbo XS Type S BOV 2 Gauge Pillar Pod Autometer CF Boost Gauge Short Shifter Kit Sparco Shift Knob Optima Blue Top Battery Alpine CD player The interior is leather and is in good conditon besides the normal cracking on the front two seats. I have put around $500 into it since I bought it in this past month. Unfortunatly it's simply not the ideal car for me *at this point in time*. I need the truck for work and honestly an all-trac simply isn't the best car for someone in college who doesn't have the time/money. Here are some pics: My asking price is $6950 or best offer. I am also willing to trade for a small size pickup. Feel free to offer me any trades though. Mark |
