Wow! Thank god you and your son are ok! Damage isn't so bad. Your projectors are intact too! If I were you, I'd wait till winter is over because who know's what else may happen. *knock on wood*

I'm having the same problem at the moment. I noticed the strong smell as soon as I filled up my tank. I had it looked at just to see if it was my lines, but my mechanic said it was the tank. He could see vapor trails. It can only be bought directly from Toyota from what I understand he tried looking for an aftermarket so he wouldn't have to go directly through toyota, but no luck.

mikemikula have you investigated any further what yours may be?

I was just looking through a brochure from a 94 Celica online and in the brochure it had a single picture of those wheels in it.
I believe they are for the 94s only? I looked at the 95+ models and it didn't show those wheels in the brochure.

... Long story, but I just met a manager who really likes me for some reason, and I'm interviewing for the job tomorrow. So if I get the job, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I'll be getting a new car within a year.

Any word on how your job interview went?

Yes it's a really beautiful place. I enjoyed the 10 days I spent there while I had friends that were living there for a bit. Definitely pays off to have people you know there. Saves you loads of $$$. My b/f and I are supposed to head back there in Aug. for our friends wedding.

OUCH! I'm glad you and your g/f weren't seriously hurt! I agree with richee3, that's going to roughly run you about $4-$5k if you took it into a shop. You could luck out and find the drivers door complete with the window regulators in tact. You'd still have to worry about the pillars too as well as the hinges. Not to mention painting it too. Is your mirror ok?

You sure the frame wasn't bent just a little? From the angle above^^ looks like it may have been damaged.

Check out this recent post. Coincidence you asked about pics of a flat black celi. hehe

IMO...I think it looks pretty good. Only seen an eg hatch in my area that was flat black, but it looked alright. Wish I could of seen it in person instead of as it drove by me though.

What about the JDM tails? You can find them here from someone possibly selling them, or ebay?

Just a thought....have any of you guys/gals try using zip ties and paint the ties your car color so it would blend into the posts?
Sorry I don't have a pic available, I'll try to post mine up though.

I did this with my SS-III grill b/c the attachment holes in my reinforcement bar didn't line up with the grill.
You can't tell that much that it's attached with zip ties.

You guys in snowy places, how do you go about it?

No need for chains here in Michigan....unless you live in the Upper Peninsula or areas with HIGH amounts of snow. All seasonal tires are on my stock wheels, I take my summer wheels off before the winter season starts.

I've only experienced driving with chains when my BF and I were in Cali when we went to Mammoth since it was mandatory according to our friends that lived there?

Correction...I ordered these awhile back, actually a few yrs back and the part # is actually correct except for "C0". I'm actually looking at my parts invoice. You need color code B1, for black. I'm not sure what color code C0 is. But when you order, VERIFY that the color code is for black and you should be fine.

Local guy here in MI on one of our local car forums. He hit me up inquiring about his car. Only to find out I was too late responding to his email and he ended up buying it. Lucky guy.

Fairly simple install. You can install them yourself. There are already tabs on the splitters that should line up perfectly underneath the bumper. Have you already purchased the splitters?

Hey Supaneko,

Welcome to the site. Love the color of your ride.
If you need help with a shop for your celi just let me know. My b/f and I go to CCM Collision on 8mile & Van Dyke.
The owners are awesome, really do great work. Mainly on imports. He did my b/f's 95 Teg when he got it repainted and all our body work that we had done over the yrs.

Highly recommended. The owner (Moe) actually repainted a 6gc the same color code as yours. Actually I think it was another fellow 6gener here (Importchick95).

Let me know....
