Hey guys,

So the alternator fuse blew in my 94 GTS today, replaced the 7.5 fuse, everything was fine and the battery was charging again. I originally lost all my gauges, power windows and the car was only running off the battery. About 20 minutes after replacing the fuse, it blew again. I know i'm having a misfire issue in cylinder 3, the rubber at the bottom of the plug wire broke off so its not making a good connection. (Replacing the wires tomorrow) but my question would be...if its not getting a good connection and could be getting an arc in that cylinder, could that be shorting out the fuse or should i be looking at other wiring issues?

Any response would be great. Thanks

well hope so, but the clunk originally came from the other wheel ( Passengers side) I checked the lugbuts there too they are fine, so not sure car is still parked. I should be back on the road this week. Then we will see if the Pass side still has a problem. The wheel that almost came off was the drivers side front. Still think a ball joint or something is bad on the other side though. wil have to wait and see!

ok so what all is needed to get these cams up and running, did you replace anything that is needed in the head to acommodate these cams? lifters? valves? ect? I have looked into Webcams and almost ordered a set, but want o know more about what is needed to get the best result and make the car still be reliable.

well the clunking is irrelevent, on my way to work yesterday, the drivers side started to really clunk and bang, and I managed to make it to my parents place, then noticed someone had either tried to steel my rims or removed 4 lugnuts as a joke, damn near had the wheel come off on the highway!! So car is parked till I get locknuts, ordered them today!

Noticed it today when I was just cruising around town doing errands. At a low speed when I brake to a stop I hear a clunk that sounds like its underneath me. Or when I am just moving slowly in 2nd gear I can hear in go clunk, clunk, clunk ect. I also get a shake at high speeds which is random, its there sometimes and others its not. could this be a Axle, ball joint, control arm? Gonna have to take it off the road till I figure its safe to be drivin the thing!! Hope its not motor mounts or the tranny mount!

Is the JDM ecu for a 3rd gen or 2nd gen and is it from a celica or a mr2?

I think its a 2nd gen 3sgte ecu from a celica, but better check the part #..

the 3sgte motor I have is a 2nd gen and does not have a MAP, and I do not have the MAF.

I have a 5sfe and a 3sgte ecu for sale.

5sfe ecu $50 plus shipping
JDM 3sgte ecu $85 plus shipping

I will take pics and post part #'s later when I am home.

I also have a 3SGTE in a friends garage if any one needs some parts and such. just ask. (not turbo or manifold, keeping that for boost project)

I saw the thread on how to install jdm skirts on 6GCbefore , but have been searching for it and can't find it. I just got my JDM skirts and am trying to put them on and need some tiops and help. that thread would be helpful if I could find it again.
