Mwuahahaahah, I love that commercial. Last year I took this class called Media Tech with my best friend. Our end-of-year project was to, quite simply, make a movie that was some 20-odd minutes long, followed a storyboard/plot, etc. We made our movie, and couldn't figure out any kind of ending. My car was actually in it briefly hehe... but anyways, we couldn't come up with a good ending. Tommy (my friend), found this commercial. Thus the ending was found. We burned it to DVD, and waited to be the last group to present to the class. It's safe to say that the class was both highly pissed off at us, and somewhat irritated. Passed the class with a 75. -brian |

Happened to me just the other night. I pulled out but was close to ejaculation... and concerned that precum could've been an issue. Went to get the day after pill on... the day after... so I'm sleeping easy. For that one night though, wow, I didn't sleep, didn't eat, was shaking and ****. I'm completely not ready (16 years old...) but had to be safe you know. Oh and... sex in a 3000GT isn't possible. I don't care WHAT you tell me. -Brian |

I own my other choice. It's my dream car (well, as close as I can get to it at this age). A '95 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL. Fully loaded. Celica's for sale... -brian |

Learn to fiberglass. Make something cool, realize it's not as good as you want it to be, and keep working on it until it's perfect. Then add onto it. That's probably the best advice I can give you as far as channeling your negative energy into something productive, such as a previous post suggested. It's certainly what I'd do. Enjoy your car, enjoy your life, friends, and family. Take a few days off during the holidays and just drive. Don't speed. Don't be stupid. Just take a step back and enjoy life. I'm going through a similar bit right now, except it wasn't for quite as long--just over a year--however I can certainly understand how you feel. I lost my best friend more than I lost a lover. Keep going. You'll pull through in the end. -Brian |

I was charged $24 for one just three days ago from Napa Auto Parts. Said and done, just like that. Put it in the next day. -Brian |

Well I purchased the Chilton's Manual as well (which will soon be for sale along with the car), but I haven't gotten to reading it yet--I'm picking up all of the parts from the store here in about 15 minutes. Thanks for the tips though, I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes/provide pictures if I can. -Brian |

I'm going to be doing my 90k maintenance (which includes Timing Belt) likely tomorrow during the day. I'm no mechanic by any means, but since this is a non-interference engine, if I get the timing off, I'm not too concerned, I can always go back in and change it.. would just be a pain in the ass. If anyone has some detailed instructions and precautions to take though, that would be greatly appreciated. Replacing tomorrow: -Automatic Transmission Filter -Automatic Transmission Fluid -Brake Fluid -Timing Belt -Spark Plugs -Air Filter ...So any hints anyone wants to give me, or a step-by-step... y'know... would be nice. I have access to just about every common shop tool, so that's no concern. -Brian |

AFAIK, you signed an "As-Is" paper. No lawyers will even mess with you knowing that. Keep your head up though, there's gotta be some loophole in there somewhere. -brian |

My car's VIN pulls up as a 25th Anniv. Celica, but I don't have the badging, foglights, or any of the other minute differences. Weird. I have the lost Celica. -Brian |

I talk to her a little bit, mostly comforting reassuring things like "It's ok baby" when we get all four wheels off the ground, or "You're hot today!" when she feels faster for whatever reason. Lately it's been "Awww, you're so cuuuuuute" when she takes a hard corner for me. It kicks ass. -Brian |

Not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing with my point here, but I'll further clarify if I can. The cars that you listed are all FWD vehicles. AWD can have wheelspin, but to the best of my knowledge, no STOCK AWD car has any (again, I'm not certain on that one). However, find an AWD car with over 450 WHEEL horsepower, and you'll be able to see wheelspin without a doubt unless he's running all-out drag slicks. -Brian |

Some big innacuracy there, even though I agree with your general point. a) AWD can have serious wheelspin. Go hop in a 450+awhp car and you'll see what I mean. b) The GT-4 won't get four carlengths before the SRT-4 stops spinning, more like one and a half to two. -Brian |

a) The Celica, you said it yourself.. it's more power, weighs roughly the same, and is AWD, so would certainly take it off the line. b) That race would never happen IRL. -brian |

I see a ton around my area. It's weird, I never saw ANY before I got mine, but right after I did I started noticing them everywhere (btw, got my car one year ago this weekend, it's her birthday ). Lately they're just multiplying though, it's ridiculous. Two others at my high school, and I see an average of 3-5 a day on top of those. Nearly all of the ones that I see on the road are GT's though, which sucks. Saw a couple convertibles the other day though, and one with his top down, that was cool.. -brian |

Thanks everyone! I'm sure it's in the manual but.. well.. this sounds so stupid--it was stolen. A few months ago his car was broken into and many of his personal belongings including CD player were taken from the car. The manual happened to be in a bag of his that was among things taken, as he had just gotten the car and was reading up on things. Again, thanks everyone, I appreciate it. -Brian |

My brother drives his 03 Civic Si pretty hard and called me up tonight to say that he checked his oil level and said that it was just barely below the L-line, asking if I could help him. Being the dumbass that I am, I have no idea. Do you just unscrew the cap on the top of the engine and begin to fill it up? I'd imagine you dump a pint into it, run the car for a few minutes, check the oil level, and proceed as necessary? What type of safety precautions should I take? Should I add oil while the car is running or off? Thanks, Brian |

*Points to profile* In my profile is a very clean uncluttered picture of my 7A-FE. It's from the day after I got her (so right around 64k at the time). It's completely stock as well, but looks damn good IMO. -Brian |

I see five or six a day, aside from those that go to my school. What impresses me is when I see one with a kit. So far, three. One was an unpainted (and broken) Invader, one with a well-painted, good-looking Invader, and one with what appeared to be JDM Extensions with some very nice looking sides that I'd never seen before... car was yellow too... -Brian |

Woooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww. I love the rear fender flares, the way he did it into the doors and all, it sounds a lot like what madmods has got going on for him now. Looks really good, very well done. Not liking the rear at all though, or the choice of two-tone. Not so much against two colors, but those two just don't contrast all that good in my eyes. Awesome car, nonetheless. -Brian |

You won't be able to redline 4th in an automatic. Sorry dude. In our cars the highest I got mine was like 4200-4400 RPMs, and that was going right around 115 on the speedo. Dunno about that Saturn, but AFAIK you cannot redline any automatic in its final gear. -Brian |
