He had told me though that the alt we have is physically not big enough and would have to use a different alt of another vehicle to get the juice outa it.. He made one for a dub that was pushing 180ish LOL

QUOTE (blkGT @ Jul 19, 2003 - 12:30 PM)
Mine have been on for about 3 years and they are at 75% worn. And I love them. they are on my stock wheels. They are Toyo Proxes FZ4's. 225's baby, they look great biggrin.gif
But they were a lil pricey. 600+ for all four. Good thing the first owner put them on tongue.gif
Sorry I cant tell you about anymore, but these have been very good to me.

WHAT?? Are you serious?? I went through a brand new set and half of a new set of FZ4's last summer.. I'll never by em again.. I only spun em twice the whole year,, sure a couple chirps here and there but no big smoke shows.. I do do alot of highway driving though at decent speeds which i would explain why the centers wore completely outa them.. They did ride noce and grip good but wear too fast for me... I'm going with Kumhos next time..

UMM yeah a press will help out QUITE a bit, but you have to pull spindles off in order to get it on a press... A press is a hydralic pushing device not something you can just run out and buy in a I'll use it one time situation.. It's a free standing unit.. a small one ie cheap will have a bottle jack as the "pusher".. I would say stop inot a local machine shop and see if they have a press there.. Tell em what you need to do and see if they would be willig to help you out.. Then pull of the spindles and take them to the machine shop with the new bearings.. Also your gonna need a large pair of cir-clip pliers.. You also forgot to mention that you have to pull the axle out of the hubb to get at the bearing...
