Ty ! Trust me I hate to part with it. I work for 911 and I honestly just dont have the time to enjoy it. I hate to see it sit in the garage doing nothing. I know i could sell it locally much quicker but i would rather see it go to this community because i know people here are going to take car of it !

Well family , I think its finally time to part with my baby. I just dont drive it or show it anymore. Really only put 3,000 miles on it since 2005. I has sat garaged and was taken care of. It comes with both sets of rims 17" TSW vx1 with Kumho tires, and 18" Axis Evo II Gunmetal 5 spokes. Both in great shape.
Those who know the car know how clean it is I will list all the mods. Car runs beautiful and always has. Not even 50,000 miles on the 3sgte. Never did any interal work on the engine other than tearing it down for resurface and valve grinding. Turbo is very dependable and sound great with the HKS SSQ Blow off valve. The Nitrous express N ter cooler kit is hooked up and fully funtional but has never been used . All the guages are Autometer . Ground glow is blue and all led. Jdm headlights have true projection and HID conversion. Hood is also JDM /Stereo is Alpine single din in dash dvd 7" monitor that comes out of the dash and flips up, amps are kicker 1000 watt , kicker 250 watt , with 2 eclipse 12 " subs and 1.0 farad capacitor all in a custom hand designed fiberglass enclosure consuming the entire rear of the car / exhaust is custom 2 1/2" exhaust. front mount intercooler is spearco. These are just some of the many features on the celica. car has not seen rain since 2004 and even then it was only if i had to drive to a show in it.

yep i need the tranny code and where the cheapest place to get a rebuilt would be , or does anyone know how involve changing the diff bearing would be and if there is way to do it without removing the entire tranny?

Ok, so using the mr tranny sounds like too much of a headache, what happened was my diff bearing in my current tranny is shot. i assume that you must crack the tranny apart to change this and figured i might as well just put a rebuilt tranny on there rather than just changing out the bearing, seams to me that the rebuilt tranny will be the easier way to go. I just dont have time to make this complex. anyone know where i can get a used 5s tranny 5 speed manual. any good cheap sites out there? also if the diff bearing is a easy fix let me know, especially if there is way to get the bearing out and replaced without having to move or remove the 3sgte , not looking forward to this.

Ok, i know there is a sticky on this but i am still confused. I did the 3sgte swap and used my 5s tranny. all was well but now the diff bearing is shot and i guess i might as well swap the tranny. my friend has a 91 mr2 with a 5s in it , what will i need to do to put this tranny into my celica and make it work. I know it bolts to the engine but what about cables, axles , ect. ..... will it work , sorry to make anyone repeat this headache, just lost

Hey there, i completed the 3sgte swap into my 95 gt last summer, immediatly after i realized that my diff bearings in my gt tranny were shot. well i made it to nopi and back but by the time i got back not only was the diff bearing shot but the wheel bearing as well. to be expected. anyway my question is ,

i have a 2nd gen jdm 3sgte swapped into a 95 gt. what should i do about the tranny, any others out there i should look for that bolt right up to everything, or should i just get another gt tranny? i dont want to have to change axles or anything like that. i just need to make it to nopi again, havent driven the car all summer because i have been busy working on my new house, but now times fading away and i need to make it to nopi. any ideas on what i should get and where to get it would be great thanks everyone

the axle play is from bad diffs, lol. not wrong axles. the diff bearings are shot!!! thats what i am asking, i am going to upgrade tranny's or diffs, i want a lsd trans. should i upgrade my gt tranny or buy something else. i heard solara tranny may work is that lsd, not that i know of.

hey everyone, most of you know me as Lowclass21 from celica.net . i completed my swap to a 2nd gen jdm 3sgte early last summer. however after completion i noticed that i could take my driver side axle and where it enters the gt transmission i can wiggle it about 1/4 of an inch in every direction. it was fine for a bit but on the way to nopi it got unbearable. i made it there and back but i believe its the diffs. i think they are pretty shot, lol. i was going to start searching for a limited slip diff for the gt tranny but figured i better check with everyone first to find my best alternative. i want traction!!! please let me know any ideas and prices also where to find them. thanks sooo much

started swap in january of 2004 finished in june of 2004. put a 2nd gen jdm 3sgte in. would have finished in may however the wiring harness was incorrect and took a loooong time to find.

does anyone know where i can find a big brake kit for a 6th gen, i saw a gt-4 in a japanese mag that had the front ones, anyone know how to get them or what they maybe off of?

i have completed the swap early this summer, all is perfect except for traction. and since my diff is ruined anyway i would like to find a limited slip for it, i am using the gt tranny, any ideas?

If i knew it would have helped i would have taken a picture of my harness made by mike when it was out of the car, but i found during my research of the problems mike caused me, that he does not use consistant colors through the harness, allthough you may see green/black pluging into pin 4 or something i may be a blue wire extended from somewhere else. he does this when he extends the harness. so i dont think anyones pics will help, however if there is any way i can help you at the ecu, i will, pinout locations, ect...

thankyou all for any help you have given, i have found my problem, Mike (qatar11) had 2 of the distibutor wires reversed at the ecu, switched them around waaaalaaa, engine idles, revs to red line , no hesitation , smooth idle, run great cant wait to get it out and drive it, just gotta finish hooking up the nitrous, blow off valve and front mount intercooler and i should be ready, thanks again!!!!!
PS, i found this without mikes help, he still has not replied any help at ALL....
