I have to sell my 96 coupe. My fiance just had a baby and there is no room for him in my little sports car. The vehicle has 68K miles, auto tranny, cruise, pw, pl, aftermarket muffler, 2" drop with Eibachs and realigned, GTS wheels and tires and clear lenses. It is in awesome shape for a 96. I live in north central Iowa. Let me know if you are interested or want more pix. Asking $6400 or best offer. I also have all of the original parts if you want those too. |

In some toyotas if the battery is disconnected with the key in any position other than off it will set the airbag light. Here it costs $65 to get it reset at the dealer. Good luck. |

I am not sure about how to get the check engine light to not go on but I was thinking that maybe with an intake, and a leaner air fuel mixture the sensor may not read the cat inefficient and set the light. Not sure if that would work though. They make o2 simulators for hi performance cars but not for ours. If you are good with wiring you may be able to get a universal one to work. Good luck. |

Since your vehicle has obd 2 the check engine light will most likely go on. It did on my 96 anyway. It will set a code for the catalyst being inefficient or something like that. Damn downstream o2 sensor. |

I am getting the same thing. I think it might be my rear sway bar links because it started right after I lowered my car last week. Hopefully next week I will have time to take a closer look. If you find something out in the meantime though, let me know. |

My mtx subs pop when the passenger side seat belt is unbuckled. I can't figure it out. I asked the guy at the stereo shop hear and he said it sounded like a bad ground. I regrounded the amp directly to the chassis but it still does it. A friend suggested that maybe it is a poor body ground somewhere else on the car. Does anybody have any idea what I should be looking for? |

I am gonna try to sell my underdrive pulley. I just have too much stereo stuff for an underdrive pulley. I will even include the brand new gates belts that are shorter to accomodate for the 18% reduction in diameter of the new crankshaft pulley. I am asking $75 shipped in the lower 48 states. I will accept paypal with payment through your bank account only. NO CREDIT CARDS. I will also accept personal checks but you have to give them time to clear the banks. If you are interested email me at: oneballpaul@excite.com |

I am pretty sure that honda is the only one with a main power relay problem. Did you check your battery connections? If they are a little loose or corroded it could cause what you are describing. It could also be the clutch safety switch. |

Hook the positive wire to the illumination wire on your stereo and the ground wire to a ground under the dash. |

I've heard stories about those things coming apart and getting sucked into the engine. That would be bad. |

I just installed my capacitor and I have never had one before. My buddy says his has a remote wire. Mine doesn't and the display is on all the time. Is it supposed to be and does that drain down the battery? I am such a moron when it comes to stereos. |

I think he was racing a civic. Anyway, your catalytic converter may not be working properly, resulting in more hydrocarbons getting to your o2 sensor and setting a code. Its also possible that you just got a faulty o2 sensor. |

I had to replace the master cylinder on my 99 solara with abs and it just bled like a conventional system. I think the system was very similar to the one used on the celicas. (2 lines in, 4 lines out) not positive though because my celica doesn't have the abs. But like spedtoe said, I would just go by the repair manual. Good luck. |

Does anybody know a good place to get factory fog light assemblies and an rs3000 alarm? I would like to keep those aspects oem looking because I think it looks cleaner that way. Also wondering if there are wire harnesses in place for the fog lights even if the car didn't have the option. |
