check your brakes.. like go near them and see if smell comes from disc, i had like that, my clinder was dragging little and disc heated enough to put metallic smell in my car occasionally after long drives.

i dont have any muffler shop around...
pipes are all good and shiny under dust cover, its just that joint which looks so bad. seems to be some kinda crap magnet

oh and i can wait.. i dont have any too hurry since new one hasnt arrived.

i am going to change my muffler in few weeks (i hope)
so i started to prepare things already so i dont has to be under car whole day when new one arrives..

i know my current stock muffler isnt easiest thing to take off, well it would be easy but since its been there ages and rust + road salt etc etc has done their job, joint looks quite horrible.

so far i been trying to clean it little bit and sprayed stuff that helps on rusty parts, also been using dremel gently and it looks bit better than in pic below.
i know i will need heavy equipment eventually...
oh and i will open that without doing damage to pipes, i dont care about bolts tho

question is.. would someone have similar pic from same area but lots of cleaner one ? it would help alot to see clean structure of it.

you can get alot better zoom (or should atleast) without resample option and doing 110% increses many times, it sounds odd but works very often

i understand that pretty well, i'm that "free tech help" for neighbours and for relatives sometimes its not so fun but i'm sorta used to it because i was teacher few years.. teaching basics of general use for peoples over 30, sometimes you just had to keep poker face when answering on special questions
