the trannies goes in gsx's so much u might as well buy in bulk. i have a friend who has kileld 5 thats right 5 trannies.....and the last 2...were racing trannies. and my rommate has an awd tlaon tsi (exact same car) and it has something else wrong with it about every week.

however they are fun as hell when they run right and take good to mods hp-wise. hell i almost bought one a couple years ago. just be ready to spend a lot of money and have some downtime.

they need to bring back the gt-four celica, it would save everything. a competitive price to compete with subaru and mitsubishi, get back in the rally scene and own the world.

i would be down for a meet. sunday would be a good day, i have every other sunday off. so if it falls on one of those sundays i can go haha. i own 3 different celicas right now...

well i am new here and just saw this thread. wich is kind of funyn because i have been trying to fidn a way to import a gt-4 for quite awhile now. a lot of good sounding ideas on here. i actually have all the paperwork needed to get a replica/kit car/rebuild title. you need all the major reciepts showing that you built it. you have to have the title of the chassis, and it coudlnt have been in a accident. and it has to be american parts.....damn. i then called all around trying to find out what would have to be done, the DOT, and i got the ultimate run around, each person i called would give me someone elses number and so on, i ended up calling about 22 people and the last guy i talked to gave me the number of the first girl i taked to....great....so that went nowhere. right now i am talking to an importer in miami to see if he can get a gt-four, but thats only half the problem. i still need to make it legal/register and inusre it. so right now im still baffled. but i want one really bad.

what ever happened to coustoe?....did he ever import his supra?

hello everyone, i am a newbie here to 6gc.net but i have been posting on other celica related forums for awhile.

ok my question is , does anyone here know anyone in the importing business? i really, really want a gt-four and i am having trouble finding someone who can do it for me. i also am trying to figure out a cheap way to make it legal. i have thought about swapping vins and all that but getting caught would really suck. any information here would be helpful, thanx.
