QUOTE(K-ESD @ Sep 20, 2007 - 12:24 AM) Check your coolant sensor, if it isn't working correctly (ie: loose connection) it will mess up your ECU and it might not set the correct fuel trim for cold idle. Also, you might benefit from a IAC and throttle body clean aswell. x2 |

It's really sad that some douche bag mechanic gives all of us a bad name. It's always these guys you hear about, not the good ones. |

QUOTE(celicamike @ Jun 15, 2007 - 5:18 AM) bump. Come on guys, I know many of you have sportlines or s techs. Just go out to your car with a ruler and measure the gaps. I'm sure there are many others like me who can't decide between the two and want to go for the most even look. Thanks I'm two states away from the celi at the moment, I'll be back next week and I'll measure for ya. |

I have the sportlines on mine, I have never measured, but it looks like a pretty even gap. |

Hey, I have a stupid problem. My celi missfires at the slightest little bit of load. (Taking off from stop lights, passing cars, etc.) Its the 7AFE, rebuilt by a crappy company with about 25,000 on the motor. I have replaced: distributor, fuel filter, alternator, plugs, wires, cap, rotor. In addition I have checked the fuel pressure out of the rail, checked the valve gaps, ignition timing, and cam timing, all of these were in spec. Does anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks. |
