Sorry, I meant that it didn't come back to level how I liked it...the M&P felt like it came back on target quicker between shots, whereas the XD felt a little heavy in the barrel, made it move around a little more. Again, I think this is just a preference, because the two guns have about the same features and shoot similarly...the m&p just had a little less felt recoil and was a bit more comfy in my hand. |

I've got a smith&wesson m&p. I shot the XD 40, but dind't like the wasy it came back to level after a shot. From what I hear, though, it's a good gun...just really came down to personal preference for me. ![]() |

I heard it was AWFUL. Poor ass acting, low budget. That was for the R rated version of it. The x-rated might be better...for obvious reasons. |

BIG [u]UH OH for your team... please tell me youre in pop warner or something....lol It's what the NCAA mandates. Practices started last weekend. Monday or Tuesday was the first day in full pads (there's a 2 or 3 practice acclimation period that the NCAA doesn't allow anything but helmets. It's no different than any other Div I school. You can do spring practice, then summer is coaching hands-off. Everything in the summer is "voluntary" workouts because no coach can do anything hands on. Then starting the first week on August practice starts. Schools are only allowed something like 14 practices before the season starts Kickoff is Sept 2nd at 5:30 against Cal. |

I'm not sure if they used OEM or not, but the bill with labor would have been almost 1,100.00 if not for the warranty. I took a survey that saved me 10.00, so I walked with all that work for 40.00. The car steers so much tighter now, and doesn't make any more noises or popping. Why carmax would give a warranty on a car that I bought with 96,xxx, I don't know..but as of today the warranty paid for itself. |

Ok, first off, the UK government relied on US intelligence and cooperation in thwarting this terrorist plot. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/4778575.stm Next, the US is stopping terrorists all the time, but I am certain that we aren't told about everything that happens, because the information gathered there may be useful later on. We don't have a right to every little piece of information out there. It is not useful to us and we do not need to know. As far as Iraq, WMD's, etc. Read through some of the Project Harmony documents that have been translated from captured Iraqi documents. There is info there about weapons smuggled out, chemical weapons programs, and so on. Bush is not in charge of everything. As mentioned before, President Bush is one part of the THREE branches. Bush can do NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING on his own. Congress approves everything. Have a problem? Write your Senator. Bitching online about the President helps nothing. I love how everything is Bush's fault and how if Kerry had been elected things would have been OOHHH so much better. I don't know about you all, but paying higher taxes and paying welfare to lazy americans and supporting illegial aliens is not something I care to do. I support the war in Iraq with my tax dollars. I am a student, and not in the service, but I plan to be after college. By the way, we are PAYING soldiers who signed up on their own will to do as our Congress sees fit. If they have a problem with being in Iraq, they should not have signed up and gotten the benefits in the first place. They are trained to be a military, not a bunch of people running around training without any use. I could go on, but I've got **** to do. |

QUOTE(alltracman78 @ Aug 9, 2006 - 10:58 PM) Alot of $ Knuckles are well over $100 each. Ball joints don't remember off the top of my head. Plus labor will be $$ ~ 3+ hrs I think. This is OEM btw, dunno on aftermarket. I was actually wrong about the knuckle, they called back today to tell me they were finished and went over what they replaced, it was both ball joints and the steering rack. Not sure if that's more expensive than a knuckle, or even what the steering rack entails...but either way, I still only pay 50.00 |

I took my car in today because of a popping noise. They called back and said they have to replace the ball joints and steering knuckle. All for 50.00. Anyone had these items replaced and know what the cost would have been if I were to pay out of pocket for all the problems??? |

Handgun = personal protection, target shooting Sniper rifle...not so sure the need, but our Constitution protects the right to own. Other than that, many Americans enjoy hunting and target shooting. Plus, owning guns is no different than any other hobby. Cars, sports, etc. You don't do them very often, but when you do it's enjoyable. |

Though I believe they should be available, I can't really think of any use a civilian needs day-to-day for a .50 cal 'sniper' rifle. Even if worse came to worse, that 4,000 dollar rifle that costs over 2.00 a shot wouldn't see too much action (that is IF IF IF there were ever a need for it). There is little that can threaten you from far away enough to be able to shoot it without reprecussions. I doubt a court will uphold that you were threatened from 750yds away. I'd recommend a nice ar15 fully decked out for about 2,500 or so, plus a lot of rounds and a nice pistol to go along with it. Smith and Wesson just released a Military and Police series. The sell ar15's as well as polymer pistols in 9mm, .40, and .357 |

Best thing about that road - there are no other roads for most of it, just pull offs here and there. Unfortunately that is right in the middle of football season, so I won't be able to attend, most likely. I only live a bit away, so maybe I could sneak away on friday..who knows.. |

Does the Toyota strut bar improve handling? Or would it be a lot better to just spend a bit more on an aftermarket..OOOR will I really notice a huge difference at all? Hate to sound like a newbie...but Just wondering if this bar is comparable to aftermarket. |

QUOTE(95CelicaST @ Jun 26, 2006 - 7:39 PM) QUOTE So just for fun, any of you got any bad/funny/or just amazingly awesome braces stories? I've had braces for 10 years... figure out which category that fits in to. A couple months ago they wanted me to wear my rubber bands 3-4-4-5 (vets should know what that it) and all was great. The next month they wanted 4-5-5-6. I wore them like that and they moved back to being bad, so I wore them how I wanted to. When I went back into the office they asked me about the last month and I told the assistant what I did and she said to me "Oh so you decided to be your own doctor?" and I said "Hell yes I did. I've been doing this before you were out of High School, now get the doctor over here." she did what I said. N00b. They really should offer people like us jobs in the office (I will have had mine 7years at the end of july). When you see new people fresh out of college every couple years, it gets a little scary..I don't trust some of the newer assistants, b/c I know enough to know when they've screwed up. |

I've had mine for almost 7 years (my teeth were jacked up, and I had setbacks w/ school and stuff where they couldn't do as much major stuff during the years) and I think I'm about to get them off in a few months. Being 18 with braces is nothing, I had them since 14..I don't remember NOT having them...I'd just like them off before my 21st birthday at the end of next month, but it doesn't look like it. I, too, fix mine w/ pliers to get the wire adjusted just right. Gotta take matters into your own hands. I know everyone at the dentist office by their first names, and I've been there with braces longer than some have worked there that help work on them. They are uncomfortable as hell, but I found that chewing gum helped toughen me up a little, to where they didn't hurt for as long everytime they were tightened. The one thing that sucks the most, is be used to the insides of your lips and cheeks being cut up all.the.time. Spicy food burns just a little more with braces. |

I'll try to take some pics tomorrow. There's one spot where they didn't get the window totally clean and so it isn't quite right on the hatch, but the guy that did the tint had a family emergency and couldn't stay to redo the tint back there...soooo I'll be going back prob next week to get that part fixed. It's not a bad thing, but I notice it, and unless it's taken care of it will drive me nuts. |

I did 20% all around, it looks great. I would have done darker, but 20 is still darker than legal in TN, the limit here is 35%.... |

Does he have a tatoo of veins??? Hmm, let's review...total douche telling an already very skinny girl to lose weight to become more attractive...interesting. Especially w/ his folded up neck skin, and receding hair line...that's like the pot pretending that you're a kettle so he can call you black..(that doesn't make all that much sense, but i've had a few and I like it.) |
