I think thats a Common problem because My car the SAME EXACT thing, and after 125K miles later it still runs like a CHAMP, my mechanic said dont worry about it, and after 2 years i stoped worrying about it.

QUOTE (spunky393 @ Jul 22, 2004 - 6:10 AM)
That's not true ivan, mine could go to 132, ya never know, the older gt vs. the newer one, they're different in ways. So, 130 for your car is the correct way to say it.

yea ur right, mines a 94 celica so who ever has a 94 can only go 130MPH

at 6.2k RPM's i got to 125-126mph, but i dynoed it at 130 MPH (top speed), so if your car is stock, the Fastes you will ever go is 130MPH and thats if u dont have any air resistance (drag) to slow u down

ok my base line horspower is 114 Hp with 125 lb pounds of torque, after putting the MSD on i got 84hp, so i lost 30 Hp then when i replaced all my wires, plugs and rotor, i got 87HP. sorry about the confusion. biggrin.gif

I bought the msd 6520 (digital 6 plus) and the tach adapter 8910 eis. I installed my Msd and it ran like crap. i dynoed it and lost 30 horsepower to the wheels. i replaced my rotor, wires, and plugs and i gain a whopping 3 horsepower.
