scroll down to this part in the walk-through this is what I'm referring to

[6] Upper Front Bumper Support Bar

The gt-four upper bar is higher in the center than regular ST/GT's. If you decide to get the gt-four support bar it needs to replace the existing one. It bolts in the center and welds on the ends.

gt-four upper support bar shown with st205 frame rails and crash bar.

Just a heads up I wrote nonstoptuning an email and got a reply back if anyone is also interested in a 5sfe pulley for their GT

Thank you for your interest in our site and products, we appreciate it.

Yes, we do. Our 3SGTE pulley for the older Celica GTS is compatible with the 5SFE in your Celica. " 99 celica GT" You can order this pulley from the following page...

Also heres a link to the HEADER project Smaay was talking about

So with a header and intake on the 5s, with just a generic canister style muffler, is it gunna sound a good loud? or a bad loud?
If that makes any sense haha.

i had probably the most setups for this possible..

1 stock manifold, stock piping until resonator, then 2 1/2 back to a magnaflow (quiet but had a nice growl)
2stock manifold, stock piping with NO resonator, then 2 1/2 back to the magnaflow. (sounded the best out of all the designs i had.)
3 header, no cat, no resonator, 2 1/2 piping to magnaflow. (so loud i couldnt talk to the pasenger @ 50mph)
4 header, nocat, resonator(stock one) 2 1/2 piping to magnaflow. (had it on for about 7 months, sounded like a subaru sometimes. i liked it)
http://www.youtube.com/user/alpinecelicagt...u/2/fjTgydQU98Q ( fast forward to 3 mins, this is what #4 sounds like under heavy accel.)

and finally #5 header, no cat, magnaflow in the middle of the car 2 1/4 inch piping back to the stock muffler (imo feels like this one makes the car much much faster off the line and through the power band. also doenst sound bad at all)

awesome thanks man! # 4 does sound pretty good!
Got a video of #5 by chance?

the intake definately made it a little louder, headers didnt make a big difference if any,

but when i installed my borla pro-sx muffler and i was pretty satisfied...

it wasn't really loud, but at high rpm, it was a beast, ill post a video soon if u want

that would be awesome if you could

Im sure some others may be pondering the same question.
How loud does an aftermarket header make the 5sfe 2.2l on our celicas? What muffler/exhaust can be used to keep the car not very loud with a deep tone.

Any suggestions would be awesome.
